My Makeup Collection

This has been a long time coming! I recently moved house and I took the opportunity to streamline my collection. Plus, for the first time ever I'm pretty happy with my set-up so finally feel like I want to share it. Obviously I'm not going to swatch every single product and this is a show, not a tell, but I'll link as many reviews as possible (as a side note: I took these photos a while ago but was so busy I didn't get a chance to put this together straight away, which is why some newer products aren't here). Let's dive in...

Ok so first things first; my dressing table was part of the furnishings that were in this room when I moved in but I've traced it and it's the affordable IKEA White Micke Desk (£39). It isn't huge but I don't have loads of space to work with in this room so it's the perfect size. If you have a smaller space and can't fit in something like the famous Alex dresser then this is a great alternative.

On top of the desk I have 4 Muji Wide Drawers (£14.95 each) and 1 Muji 4-Drawer Box (£24.95). Yes, acrylic drawers are a bit of a cliche but there's a reason they're so popular! It's really hand to be able to see what's inside and you can fill them with your prettiest makeup to really showcase the beautiful packaging. I keep mine looking clean and streak-free with screen wipes. I really like the wide drawers because they are deep enough to hold products like foundation and there's very little that won't fit in them, whereas the shallower options can be a little limiting.

You can see I have a few products on top of the drawers that I'll talk about later but more generally, I have a Homebase Copperfield Desk Lamp (£21.49) and H&M Mirror (£14.99), which is an antique gold shade because I felt it was getting a bit matchy-matchy with all the copper! The pot used to hold my Zoeva Rose Gold brushes is from H&M but they no longer seem to do it or anything similar! The copper lash curlers are something I bought as a photography prop for just £1 in Primark. Other than that, my pots are just emptied-out candle holders from Jo Malone and Diptyque.

This drawer has a mixture of blusher, bronzer and contouring products:

KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blush in 03 Treasure Rose (discontinued) | review
KIKO Perfecting Bronzer in Medium-Dark (discontinued) | review
KIKO Contouring Sticks (discontinued) | review

My favourite blusher formulas of all-time are the Clinique Cheek Pop and the Hourglass ones because they have the right level of pigmentation, blend out beautifully and last on my skin. The products I need to get using more are the KIKO Contouring Sticks, Bobbi Brown Tawny and the KIKO cream blusher I have in here.

This drawer is a bit of a mishmash but they're all eye products and the bulk are single eyeshadows:

Clarins Ombre Iridescent Waterproof Eyeshadows in Copper Brown & Golden Peach* (discontinued) | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Crenshaw (discontinued) | review

ColourPop do some of my favourite cream eyeshadows of all-time, I also really like the By Terry Ombre Blackstars and Clarins Ombre Iridescents. Plus there are the only two high-end mascaras I'm willing to spend the money on, which are both from Benefit.

Most of my favourite foundations and bases are in this drawer (so far as they can fit!):

The Urban Decay All Nighter is probably the only one that's not an absolute favourite, plus my Urban Decay concealer has snuck in there! Besides those two; Nars Sheer Glow is my holy grail and the Estee Lauder foundations are both great for evening wear (though the Light version is more of a medium coverage and the original is complete coverage). I have three everyday favourites: the Cover FX is my favourite for Summer, the Nars Tinted Moisturiser is my go-to in Winter and I really like the Clinique stick for a quick and easy light-medium coverage.

This next drawer holds an assortment of cheek products with bronzers, highlighters and blushers all in there together. I have:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood (discontinued) | review
KIKO Daring Game Top Pairs Blush Duo in 02 Raspberry Rose & Peach (discontinued) | review
Clarins Summer Bronzing Compact* (discontinued) | review

Having a nosey in this drawer I definitely think my Frat Boy blush and the fantastic little duo from KIKO are being underused by me so they will have to go into my daily rotation soon! The natural, dewy MAC highlighters are some of my favourites.

This is my second main drawer of foundation and concealer products. I have:

Foundations and concealers were an area where I got rid of a LOT! I just can't be doing with base products that don't match my skin. At the moment I'm using Touche Eclat every day (this is actually a back-up) to get my under-eyes looking radiant. Though I never skip corrector, at the moment I'm not using the two I have in here that much. The Nars concealer is another old favourite that's been a bit sidelined recently. I am looking forward to using the Magic Foundation again this Autumn/Winter as the shade I have isn't really suitable when I have a tan and I just prefer the finish for the cooler months. My most-used product in here is definitely the Estee Lauder stick foundation right now because it just gives the most beautiful everyday finish.

The bottom drawer for this first set houses an assortment of lip products and is where I store the bulk of my liquid lipstick collection. In here I have:

ColourPop Matte Lippie Stix in Polite Society (discontinued) | review
Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick in Downtown Cafe (discontinued) | review
Tarte Plummy Rose Lipstick (discontinued)
NYX Lingerie Lip Liquid Lipsticks in Ruffle Trim & Bedtime Flirt | review
Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paints in 24Seven & Bachelorette | review

I definitely think my favourite liquid lipstick formulas out of the ones in here are the ColourPop Ultra Satin and Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte because neither dry out my lips. I did keep hold of my Jeffree Star shades but if you read my review, this is not a brand I wish to support now. In terms of the standard lipsticks in here; I am a big fan of the Nars Audacious formula and love the two shades I created at the Bite Beauty Lip Lab in New York.

These are just some products I keep on the top of my Muji drawers - some of them are just pretty and decorative, others don't really fit anywhere else! I keep some of my most-used liquid lipsticks in this empty Jo Malone candle jar too. Here I have:

Rosie for Autograph Cream Blush in English Rose Flush | review
Becca Champagne Face Collection Palette (discontinued) | review
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Red Berry* | review
Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette | review
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Echo Park | review
Ofra Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever | review
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II | review
Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Everything Nice | review
NYX Lingerie Lip in Ruffle Trim | review
Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Sell Out | review
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Frick N Frack | review
Dose of Colors Matte Lipstick in Truffle | review
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Gemini | review
The Balm Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Committed | review
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare | review
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina | review

I absolutely love this Too Faced palette - it's perfect for an everyday eye look and the Becca palette is what I pack whenever I go away. My ultimate most-used liquid lipsticks include Echo Park and Everything Nice.

Next we have my highlighter drawer (or at least part 1 of it!):

Too Faced Snow Bunny Bronzer
Laura Geller Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey | review
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop | review
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Opal | review
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Strobe Powder in Brilliant Light | review
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow in Medium-Dark | review
No7 Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter | review
Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Highlighter (mini) | review
Topshop Glow Pot in Gleam | review
Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion in 02 Gold* | review
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal | review
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Moonstone | review

From this drawer, my most-used products are the Laura Geller highlighter and of course Becca's Champagne Pop. A newer favourite is the Makeup Forever highlighter and I also really like the No7 one (it's so underrated!) Products I'd like to get more use out of are the Charlotte Tilbury and Too Faced highlighters.

This drawer is mostly blusher with a few highlighters and bronzers that have snuck into the mix. Here I have:

KIKO Artist Watercolour Blush in Expressive Biscuit (discontinued) | review
Milani Powder Blush in Romantic Rose | review
Ciate Olivia Palermo Cheekbone Cheat Duo in Seaside Park (discontinued) | review
Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Captivating | review
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love | review
Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Achoite | review
ColourPop Cheek Shock Blush in Fox | review
Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek in Amp'd Up Apple | review
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer | review
Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed | review
Benefit Sun Beam | review
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso | review
Urban Decay Beached Bronzed in Bronzed | review
Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore | review
The Balm Instain Blush in Houndstooth | review

As you can probably see, I'm a big fan of the Milani Baked Blushes, as well as the ones from Tarte. Although I only have one of them, I love my Too Faced blusher as well and my Urban Decay bronzer is a holy grail product.

This drawer is a bit of a mishmash of products that didn't really fit elsewhere! I have:

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Nillionaire | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Bandit | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Mooning | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Wilshire (discontinued) | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Sunset Blvd (discontinued) | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Beverly (discontinued) | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in La La | review
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Central Perk | review
Illamasqua Beyond Powder in Epic* | review
Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette | review
Tarte The Tarteist Blush Palette (discontinued) | review

This drawer is definitely a bit neglected and I'd like to use all of these products more!

Now we're into the first of our lip drawers, and these are mainly high-end:

Ciate x Olivia Palermo Satin Kiss Lipstick in Praline (discontinued) | review
Tom Ford Lip Colour Shine in Nubile | review
Bobbi Brown Lip Colour in Nude | review
Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick in Rosewood (discontinued) | review
Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Pink Chocolate | review
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Walk of Shame | review
Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick in Hitch Hike | review
Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick in Carnal | review
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Sweet Cream | review
Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick in Tawny Rose* | review
Lipstick Queen Saint Lipsticks in Saint Natural & Saint Rust
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors in Red Shimmer & Pink Shimmer* | review
Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lipstick in Cary* | review
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments in Petal, Honey and Rose | review, review
ColourPop Matte Lippie Stix in Brink, RAYEzor (discontinued) & Lumiere | review, review, review
ColourPop Matte X Lippie Stick in Cami | review
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in Walkyrie & Dolce Vita (x2) | review, review
The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Charming | review

Out of these lipsticks I think my most-loved are the Nars lip pencils (the formula is just so comfortable), the Fresh tinted lip balms (which are so easy to wear on a 'no makeup' makeup day) and the Urban Decay Comfort Mattes (again, this is just an incredible matte lipstick formula). I also really love my ColourPop Lippie Stix, which come in at just $5 each! I definitely need to use my Too Faced, Bobbi Brown and Lipstick Queen lipsticks more going forwards.

It's more high-end lipsticks! In this second drawer I have:

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks in Amazing Grace, Bond Girl & Super Cindy | review, review, review
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in Rose Infinite
KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick in Sangria (discontinued)
Burberry Kisses Lipstick in Sepia (mini)
Clinique Colour Pop Lip Colours in Plum Pop & Mocha | review, review
Clarins Daily Energising Beauty Balm* (discontinued) | review
Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Sweet Macchiato | review
Clinique Chubby Sticks Intense in Curviest Caramel & Roomiest Rose | review, review
Clinique Chubby Sticks in Whole Lotta Honey & Mega Melon* | review, review
Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in 1995
Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in Carolina | review
Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Colour in Italian Rose
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Liar (discontinued - buy the re-release here) | review

As you may have noticed, I'm a big fan of the Charlotte Tilbury matte lipsticks and my favourite is Bond Girl! I also get a lot of use out of Clinique Curviest Caramel and Urban Decay Liar.

The next two drawers are pretty much crammed full of palettes! I have:

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette | review
Stila Eyes Are the Window Palette in Soul | review
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette | review
Ciate x Olivia Palermo Smoky Suedes Palette (discontinued) | review
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light | review
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in That Glow (discontinued) | review
Lorac Unzipped Palette | review

These are some of the most-loved pre-made palettes in my collection. I wear the Zoeva Cocoa Blend and Lorac Unzipped so much, especially at this time of year, and Stila Soul is also a favourite.

Inside the drawer I divide my products using these little translucent frosted plastic tubs from Muji (I can't seem to find them online but I've definitely seen them in-store and they were all in the region of £2-5 each). I also have a cutlery divider that's just from Asda that I use to store some single eyeshadows and blushers.

It's deceptive how many palettes I can fit down the side of my drawer! Here I have:

Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette | review
Inglot x5 Freedom System with Eyeshadows in 11, 335, 606, 406 & 52 | review
Blank Canvas Master Series 1 Palette* | review
Sephora IT Palette Nude | review
Zoeva En Taupe Palette | review
Urban Decay Naked Palette | review
Zoeva Naturally Yours Palette | review
Clarins 4 Colour Eyeshadow Palette in Rosewood* | review

Pretty much all of these palettes (besides the Blank Canvas and Nude Spectrum ones) are a bit neglected so I will be making a point to use them more. I tend not to reach for pre-made palettes that much these days but I need to make more effort to use the ones I have.

I also have:

MAC Small Compact Palette & x6 Eyeshadow Insert with Refill Pans: Expensive Pink, Swiss Chocolate, Texture, Satin Taupe, Patina & Cork | review
Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace | review
Sleek Face Form in Medium | review
Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Palette | review
Zoeva Spectrum Blush Palette in Coral Spectrum* | review
KIKO Cocoa Shock Blush Duo in 02 (discontinued) | review
Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette | review

These products are all a bit neglected! I don't tend to contour much but I do use the Sleek and Barry M kits when I do. I really like and need to get more use from the Sleek blusher palette and the Collection eyeshadow palette.

In the front compartment are most of my pencil, pen, brow and mascara products:

L'Oreal False Lash Flutter Mascara | review
Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara | review
KIKO Super Colour Mascara | review
KIKO Campus Idol Double Dare Liner & Eyeshadow in Copper & Chocolate (discontinued) | review
KIKO Long-Lasting Stick Eyeshadows in 06 Golden Brown, 05 Rosy Brown, 39 Dark Taupe, 04 Golden Chocolate & 38 Golden Taupe | review
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Zero, Scorch, Underground, Trick & Supply | review
Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Trespassing Taupe | review
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Eyeliners in Black & Nude
Zoeva Graphic Eyes in Mute* | review
Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl in Superblack
Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner | review
Soap & Glory Supercat Skinny Eyeliner* | review
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black | review
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Espresso (x2) | review
Benefit Soap & Glory Goof Proof Brow Pencil in 04* | review
Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil in Hot Chocolate | review
Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in Granite | review

I do love a cream eyeshadow and KIKO's are some of my favourites! I'm also a big fan of the MAC lip pencils and Urban Decay eyeliners.

Moving into the next section, I have some more blushers:

KIKO Shade Fusion Trio Blush in 03 Abricot | review
Makeup Geek Compact Blush in Chivalry | review
Sleek Blush in Suede | review
Laura Geller Baked Blushes in Roseberry & Pink Grapefruit | review, review
Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes in Alluring Rose & Seductive Pink | review
Nars Blushes in Orgasm, Amour & Dolce Vita* | review, review
KIKO Water Eyeshadow in 208 Light Gold | review

There are some really great blusher formulas in here that I should be wearing much more often. Of course Nars's is legendary but I also really rate Sleek and the Laura Geller blushers.

In the centre are a load of ColourPop cheek products:

ColourPop Cheek Shock Bronzers in Carry On & Bronze Me | review
ColourPop Cheek Shock Blushes in Flush'd (discontinued) & Quarters | review, review
ColourPop Cheek Shock Highlighters in Candyman, Glo Up, Dream Catcher (discontinued), Churro, Wisp & Avalon | review, review, review, review, review

I'm a huuuuge fan of ColourPop's cream cheek products! My favourites are Dream Catcher, Wisp, Churro and Carry On.

In the next section are some single eyeshadows, which are mainly cream formulas:

Maybelline Colour Tattoos in On & On Bronze, Caramel Cool (discontinued), Beige-ing Beauty (discontinued), Nude Compliment (discontinued), Sleek & Spice (discontinued) & Creamy Beige  | review, review
MAC Electric Cool Eyeshadow in Superwatt (discontinued)
Natural Collection Solo Eyeshadows in Milk Chocolate & Crushed Walnut | review
L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadows in Amber Rush & Bronzed Taupe | review

Of course, my favourite single eyeshadows are my Maybelline Colour Tattoos and I have a ton of them! I also really like the matte Natural Collection Solo Eyeshadows, which I recently repurchased - they're so affordable and have a pigmented and smooth formula.

Down the back of this drawer are a few foundations and primers:

KIKO Divine Tone Moisturising Serum in Medium Dark | review
Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder | review
MAC Prep & Prime Skin Base (mini)
L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 104 | review
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation in 220
Too Faced Hangover Primer | review
Hylamide Matte 12 Primer* | review

I really like the Ben Nye powder for setting my face ahead of a night out. The L'Oreal foundation is an absolute favourite and this is just a lighter shade I have on hand for the colder months. The Too Faced (in the winter because it's hydrating) and Hylamide (in the summer because it's mattifying) primers are two of my favourites.

I have an entire compartment in my drawer for my MAC lipsticks:

Faux (Satin)
Creme in Your  Coffee (Cremesheen)
Dubonnet (Amplified)
Paramount (Satin)
Party Line (Cremesheen)
Tropic Tonic (Matte) | review
Mehr (Matte)
Diva (Matte)
Chili (Matte)
Plumful (Lustre)
Finally Free (Cremesheen)
Twig (Satin)
Taupe (Matte)
Fanfare (Cremesheen)
Velvet Teddy (Matte)
Jubilee (Lustre)
Syrup (Lustre)

My last collection post is here and I've linked reviews of the shades that weren't included in that above where possible.

In the next compartment along, I have some more lipsticks, which are mainly drugstore:

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks in Succumb & Barely There | review
Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Pencil in Nude Perfection | review
Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Sultry
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 08 | review
Seventeen Mega Matte Lipstick in Looking Buff* | review
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in Clay Crush | review
Soap & Glory Lipsticks in Perfect Day & Naked Beige (discontinued) | review, review
Maybelline Lipstick in Velvet Beige
Wet N Wild Matte Lipsticks in Spiked With Rum & In the Flesh | review | review
Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle & Sugar Plum | review, review
NYX Matte Lipsticks in Eurotrash & Strawberry Daiquiri | review
Make Up For Ever Lipstick in Mocha Beige* | review

Again, I should be using most of these lipsticks more! I definitely reach for Soap & Glory's Perfect Day and Maybelline Clay Crush the most as they're both perfect everyday shades.

In the back of the drawer I have another compartment which holds mainly drugstore cheek products (though an eyeshadow palette has snuck its way in here!):

Makeup Revolution Baked Bronzer in Golden Days | review
KIKO Shade Selection 3 with High-Pigment Eyeshadows in 18, 47 & 48 | review
MAC Small Compact Palette with x2 Cream Colour Insert with: Ginger & Blushbaby | review
KIKO Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter in 100 Gold | review
KIKO Velvet Touch Creamy Stick Blushes in Golden Peach & Geranium | review
NYX HD Blush in Amber | review
ColourPop Cheek Shock Blush in Between the Sheets | review
Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick in Bronze Gold  | review
Zoeva Luxe Colour Blush in Burning Up* | review
Rimmel Instaflawless Primer in Medium | review
Models Own Liquid Highlighter in Rose Gold* | review

Again, a compartment I don't go into often enough! I suppose it's because it's right in the back of my drawer. I will definitely be putting the Zoeva blusher in with my everyday makeup because it's such a good formula. I'm also a big fan of NYX Amber and the KIKO cream stick blushers and highlighter.

The largest tub holds my everyday makeup and when I took this shot, it contained:

Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Dirty Peach | review
MAC Lipstick in Strip Me Down (Matte) (discontinued) | review
Lancome Juicy Shaker in Vanilla Pop | review
Becca Mineral Blush in Songbird | review
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown | review
Benefit Gimme Brow in 03* | review
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black | review

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Stag & Smog | review

I generally like to have an eyeshadow palette, one or two cheek options and at least one matte and one sheer lip option in with my everyday makeup. I use a mix of new products I'm testing, everyday essentials and old favourites that deserve a bit more love.

Lastly I have a copper wire basket on the side, mainly used for products that don't fit anywhere else!:

Make Up For Ever Large Empty Palette with Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in Rapunzel, Hoemcoming, Creme Brulee, Tiki Hut, Morocco, Brownie Points, Taupe Notch & Bada BingMakeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Starry Eyed, Magic Act & FlamethrowerMAC Eyeshadows in Amber Lights, Cranberry, Saddle & Quarry, Coloured Raine Eyeshadow in Golden OliveAnastasia Eyeshadows in Glisten, RTW, Topaz & Deep Plum | review

  4. Amazing post, what a lot of work to put together! Thank you, I always really appreciate your candid thoughts before parting with my pennies, and I find you pitch your blog at a more realistic budget than some others, which I really like as it recognises that most of us have to be picky with what we invest in xx (I appreciate I'm writing this on a post that contains a fortune's worth of product, but that just shows your comprehensive research!)

  6. Omg so manny lipsticks! :O I think lipsticks I have the least. I recently streamlined my collection as well and I'm so chuffed with the size of it. Obviously it's not as big as yours - but then again I don't have the excuse of having a popular blog haha. I still think I have way more make up than I actually need :D

  30. My makeup storage is such a mismatch of drawers I hate it, and seeing how beautiful and aesthetically pleasing yours looks just makes me determined to get some clear acrylic drawers...especially since you've mentioned ones deep enough for products such as foundation.

    1. Yeah they're really handy - I wish I'd got more of those instead of the 5-drawer ones! xx

  32. Holy moly !!! Major heart eyes for this whole post, and a double pat on the back because I can't even imagine how long it took you to work on this. I think it's pretty clear that myself, and a ton of others, are probably having huge makeup envy right now. I agree about the deeper Muji drawers, they're much more versatile as they'll fit most everything and anything thin can be stacked anyways. The 5 drawers are nice particularly for lipsticks, but it's annoying that a few deeper pots like MAC paint pots can't fit :( I'm trying to limit myself to the ones I already have, 2 5-drawers and 2 2-drawers - I think that's plenty for me! I also have another 2-drawer that I use as my everyday makeup shelf that I rotate products in and out of.

So excited for your get to know me post! Would love to know your thoughts on growing so much in blogging in recent years, is it something you think you'll continue to do in the long run?

  39. I love the way you've organised your makeup. Those acrylic draws look so good! Being that it's been about a month since i moved into my new bedroom I had to completely change up the way i organised my makeup. So I am not completely happy with it yet because it was such a different set up, the first time is always bumpy. Your post has definitely inspired me to go for attempt number two at organizing my makeup.
