These past couple of months I’ve had a really great skincare routine going, so I’m excited to be giving you a whistle-stop tour today of some really great products that you might end up loving as much as I do...

I’ve been using the Wow You! Zen Cleanser | £16 | full review | as both my morning and my evening cleanse recently and have had to force myself to even consider trying anything else! It’s a classic cream cleanser but it feels so nourishing, refreshing and calming on the skin that it's an absolute dream to use every time. It’s incredibly gentle and feels so rich that it really replenishes my dehydrated skin. It doesn’t sting my eyes so can also remove any lingering bits of makeup that I may not have quite caught in my first cleanse. It’s formulated with cucumber, oatmeal and avocado, which all help to calm and moisturise the skin. As I tend to use actives in my serum, night treatment or toner, it's nice to have a simple, balancing moisturising cleanser in my routine (update: I now have an affiliate code with Wow You! - use JASMINE15 for 15% off!)

In terms of toners - I’ve been using a face mist daily and an exfoliating formula every other day (in the evening). My go-to face mist has been the Glow Recipe Watermelon Ultra-Fine Mist* | £25 | full review. This is a beautiful dual-phase hydrating spray formulated with hyaluronic acid and watermelon and it gives me the most dewy, radiant skin! When I've want to use a proper chemical exfoliation toner, I've been loving the Glossier Solution | £19 | full review. I'm only disappointed that I'm already about halfway through this actually-quite-small bottle! This contains AHAs, BHAs and PHAs to create a potent exfoliation cocktail that has been incredible at evening out my skin's tone and texture, keeping it smooth, clear and radiant. I absolutely love this stuff, I just wish the bottle had a little more mileage in it!

It looks like I have a few serums here, but let me explain! My last skincare post went up right after I'd been on holiday and - given I plan my posts at least a fortnight in advance - I didn't get a chance to mention the product I used throughout my holiday to Portugal: the Fourth Ray Beauty Watermelon Face Milk | $10 | full review. I definitely seem to be rapidly getting through this too! Calling it a serum might be a bit of a misnomer; think of it as a hydration-booster - it can be used as a serum, a moisturiser if you don't need that much richness or a couple of drops can be added to your moisturiser. This contains watermelon seed oil, cucumber water, aloe and bamboo milk which soften and smooth my skin beautifully.

Back home I've been using one of two serums or combining them, and these are: the Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum* | $6 | full review coming soon | and the Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum* | £46 | full review. This serum from Good Molecules could well be my absolute favourite affordable hyaluronic acid! It's seriously that good; absorbing into my skin with no tackiness and giving my skin a soft, plump feel, as well as leaving it hydrated and healthy-looking. I rate this more highly than the similar HA serums from brands like the Ordinary and the Inkey List - it can even stand up against much more expensive products on the market like my favourite from Niod. The Glow Recipe serum contains Vitamin C and has a watery texture. I just love the dewy glow this gives my skin. It revives dull and lifeless skin to make it look its absolute best. These two combined is like a good skin day bottled!

I then finish up my morning routine with a moisturiser and an eye cream. I'm a little bit obsessed with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser* | £36 | full review. I'm not normally one for gel moisturisers but this one is incredible for my dehydrated skin, quenching its thirst and making it look fresh and dewy. It's packed with vitamins and amino acids for healthy looking and feeling skin. I then pat on my beloved Fresh Beauty Lotus Eye Gel* | £40 | full review. This is the perfect balance for me; it's creamy but has more of a light gel-like consistency, providing hydration without being too rich and refreshing my eye area.

Fast-forwarding to the evening, I obviously start by removing my makeup. I'm a huge fan of the Good Molecules Instant Cleansing Balm* | $15 | review coming soon. It's simple, fragrance-free, effective, residue-free and gentle. What more do you want from an oil-based makeup-remover? As I mentioned - I use the Wow You! cleanser as my second cleanse also and the Glossier Solution in the evening. When I feel like it, I'll use the Summer Fridays R + R Mask | £46 | full review | before bed. This is an oil-based mask with rose particles to gently exfoliate the skin. It leaves my complexion so soft, smooth and nourished after use - I love it! As the final step in my routine, I've been reaching for the Wow You! Glow to Sleep Night Moisturiser | £18 | full review. As I mentioned, I do use the Glossier Solution in the evening - I wouldn't recommend combining retinol and acids if you have sensitive skin, but if you can handle it; simply wait a couple of hours between the two so your skin can return to a normal pH level (this is pretty easy because I'll get in from work, cleanse and tone and then apply the night cream a little later, right before bed). This combines two of my favourite skincare ingredients - retinol and rosehip to create a skin-smoothing cocktail that's gentle and nourishing at the same time. I can't get enough of the stuff and have been loving the quality of my skin during the time I've been using this product (update: I now have an affiliate code with Wow You! - use JASMINE15 for 15% off!)
