BEAUTY PRODUCTS FOR BUSY PEOPLE

As much as I love beauty and taking time with my routine; that's not always possible! These are the beauty products I recommend for busy days and busy people...

I'm such an advocate of mists! Face mists can be used in place of a toner (because sometimes it just seems like too much effort to faff about getting out a bottle and cotton wool pads), to set your makeup or to refresh your complexion throughout the day, and one of the ones I really love and recommend is the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist* | £20 (30ml). It's very fine when you dispense it and I find it so softening and it provides lasting hydration and plumpness to my skin. This is formulated with neroli, sage, rose and other natural extracts. I also love a multitasker and one of my favourite products for this is the Nuxe Huile de Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil | £18.50. This is a gorgeous, nourishing but non-greasy oil that I love for my body (as my skin is so dry!) and also use on the ends of my hair. The spray mist packaging makes this very handy too.

It rarely seems as though I have time to do a nice face mask and unwind, but when my skin needs a pick-me-up I like to use something like the Pixi Beauty In-Shower Steam Facial | £18 | full review. This collagen mask can be slapped on before and then rinsed off after your morning shower. It doesn't do anything that dramatic but it gives my skin a nice boost of moisture and makes it feel softer.

Pre-soaked pads are also a great time-saver in my skincare routine. I'm absolutely loving the Omorovicza Peachy Micellar Cleansers* | £35. These are definitely more on the pricey side for micellar makeup-removing cleansing pads, however the amazing thing about these is that I can get an entire face of makeup off with just one pad! They're so incredibly effective at removing face and eye makeup but are still very gentle on my sensitive eyes. I also feel they leave my skin soft and hydrated instead of stripped like a face wipe would. I also love my Alex Steinherr x Primark Pollution Solution Dual Texture Exfoliating Pads | £5 | full review. These exfoliate and resurface the skin chemically so your complexion is clearer and your skin texture is smoother and more even. I'm incredibly impressed with these for £5 - you can really see the difference and it's only a few seconds added to your routine!

Stick products are also great and we'll start with skincare. The first thing I have to talk about claims to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise all in one go. It's the Frances Prescott Tri-Balm* | £46 | full review. It's great for travel to use as a balm cleanser to remove makeup or as a morning cleanse (I personally don't put it directly on my face if I'm using it to take off makeup - I just warm a little under my fingers then apply it to the skin). This is also a nice face mask treatment for extra hydration - just apply it, leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse. It contains natural oils and chemical exfoliation to both nourish and exfoliate the skin in one step. I also really like the Kate Somerville Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm* | £32 | full review. This goes onto the skin in a lovely light layer but it's still really nourishing and cooling on my eye area. Plus it can be applied in a couple of seconds!

In terms of makeup - you may have guessed that I have more stick products... First up is the Milk Makeup Blur Stick | £30.50 | full review. This is a really good stick primer for smoothing out pores and fine lines, giving the skin a matte-satin finish in just a few swipes. I also often keep the Clinique Chubby in the Nude Stick Foundation (Golden Neutral) | £25.50 | full review | in my handbag. I rarely go for stick foundation, but this really works for me! I love the natural, radiant satin finish and it's so quick and easy to apply and use for touch-ups. I also recently discovered the Mii Forever Eye Colour Crayons in Burnt Copper and Mocha* | £17 each. I love a cream eyeshadow for busy weekday mornings and even when I have a little more time - these are great as priming eyeshadow bases. When I'm in a rush these soft nude shades are perfect for swiping on and blending out with my fingers. You definitely get some time to work with this formula, however they then set down and don't crease. I really like the pinky-brown taupe of Burnt Copper and the warm granite-brown Mocha is great as a liner.

I'm a huge fan of these tinted lip balms! The Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Spice | £19.50 | is my perfect warm reddish-brown, but there's every shade in the range from orange to pink-nude to berry. They're surprisingly pigmented for this sort of product and the formula is so nourishing. You can throw one of these in your bag and apply it without a mirror with minimal effort!

A brow gel is another time-saver if you're blessed with a pretty even shape! I personally really love the Glossier Boy Brow (Black) | £14 | full review. It creates fullness and adds colour to the brows without being thick or crunchy. It just gives them a natural boost and a nice soft hold.

Finally, I have to shout out my BeautyBlender* | £17 | full review! Whether it's foundation, concealer, cream cheek products, you've applied too much blusher or whatever else; this is an amazing multitasker for an even, natural complexion in seconds with minimal effort.
