By the time this post goes up I'll be sunning myself in the Algarve and I can't wait! There's nothing like a relaxing holiday where the hardest decision of the day is where to go for dinner - especially when life is feeling a bit non-stop. Today I wanted to share with you a few of the products I'll be taking along with me...

Coola Classic Sport Face SPF50 White Tea* | £30 | full review | Obviously sunscreen is a must - not just on holiday, not just during summer but this obviously heading to Portugal means it's an unskippable item in my suitcase! I've waxed lyrical many a time about this sunscreen because what's not to like? It's lightweight, is isn't greasy, it melts into the skin instead of sitting on top of it and it doesn't pill up when I apply my primer and makeup over the top of it. Best of all: it provides broad spectrum SPF50 so you aren't compromising on protection for convenience.

Dr Roebuck's No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturiser* | £30 | full review | This product probably has some of the least-travel-friendly packaging in the world, so you know it's good because I'm packing it anyway! This is just a lovely grease-free, lightweight cream moisturiser that's smoothing and makes my skin glow. It's fuss-free, practical and formulated with all of the good hydrating stuff, including hyaluronic acid, macadamia oil and Vitamin E.

Bioderma Photoderm Dry Oil Spray SPF30* | £20 | I absolutely love using dry oils to hydrate my very dry skin and this one combines that slip-free but intensely nourishing formulation with SPF30. It's water-resistant, can be used on wet or dry skin and it's just very quick and easy to apply and reapply. Unlike a traditional cream sunscreens; it's totally transparent and you don't have to spend ages rubbing it in, which makes me so much more likely to keep the protection topped-up.

BareMinerals Original SPF15 Loose Mineral Foundation* (14) | £28 | Sometimes on holiday - you just want to wear a bit of makeup but you don't want it to feel fussy or like there's a lot of product on your skin and you definitely don't want it to melt off during the day! This is perfect for those sorts of occasions - it's a powder foundation that can be applied as lightly as you want or you can build up the coverage in any problem areas. It doesn't look heavy or cakey on the skin and has a luminous finish. It also lasts really well and keeps the shine at bay.

Natasha Denona Tan Palette | £51 | full review | This is just a great all-in-one face palette with some highlighting options and a bronzer. I can't guarantee my favourite Fenty bronzer (reviewed here) won't also make its way into my holiday makeup bag but this bronzer shade is still a nice matte formula that's a good shade for my skin tone. You get the dewy cream bronze-gold highlight in here, something quite stark and dramatic and something soft and sunkissed. It comes in travel-friendly packaging and is pretty compact, which makes it ideal for on holiday.

Nudestix Magnetic Eye Colour Pencil in Gilt | £20 | For a quick and easy holiday makeup look, I really like using cream eyeshadow - you get that gorgeous dewy look on the lids and they're very long-lasting. This has a creamy formula but sets down and doesn't crease. You get a bit of blending time and this is a natural sheeny warm gold wash of colour that's gorgeous for a bronzed makeup look.

Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment SPF15 in Punch* | £19.50 | I love these tinted lip balms - they have more colour than you'd expect from this sort of product, they're nourishing, they give a glossy finish and they contain SPF15. As you eat and drink throughout the day you naturally re-apply a product like this, so it also avoids the dreaded burnt lips! This is a gorgeous reddish-coral tone that's perfect for summer.

Glossier Lash Slick Mascara | £14 | full review | This is the perfect holiday mascara - though it's definitely more of a natural, lengthening, separating mascara,  I still really like it. What makes it truly great, though, is how it doesn't flake or smudge around my eye area.

Are you off on holiday this year? Which essentials will you be packing?
