Budget Beauty: Cheaper than a Coffee!

I recently did a post on my top 10 under £10, but I've decided I can go one better! Now I'm bringing you amazing beauty finds that will only cost you as much as skipping your morning coffee, or less! So here are a selection of great quality products you can purchase for £4.50 and under.

Lips

MUA Matte Lipsticks, £1

I currently own Fawn Fancy and Lilac Belle (review here), and I'm just so impressed with them. Personally I prefer Lilac Belle (a pink-toned lilac), because Fawn Fancy is really close to my natural lip colour, but they're both creamy, easy to apply, long-lasting and have a lovely slightly vanilla fragrance. I just want them to bring out even more to be honest, as they're such good value you'll feel like you've stolen something!

e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Colour, £3.95

This is another product with an amazing formula, which I just wish came in more colours! I currently own Praline (review here), which is a gorgeous natural caramel-brown, and is insanely durable.

Eyes

MUA 12 Shade Eyeshadow Palettes, £4

I currently own Heaven and Earth (full review here), but MUA do several of these palettes, Undress Me Too (dupe of Urban Decay Naked 2) also looks lovely. I feel like pictures never do Heaven and Earth justice, but it's just stunning! I honestly find myself reaching for it more than my Naked palette these days; it's that good. Great colour pay-off, blend-able, buttery, minimal fall out...I could go on forever.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Eyeshadow Palettes, £4

I picked up these in my Superdrug order included in my big budget beauty haul. I've actually only tried Iconic 2, Iconic 3 is waiting for testing (reviews of both coming soon!) and I don't have Iconic 1, but if the others anywhere near as good quality as 2 then I can't recommend these palettes enough! I'm not as wild about the colours in 2 but they're virtually identical to Urban Decay Naked 2, so that's just a reflection of my thoughts on that palette. I'm really impressed with how smooth and easy to apply the mattes are; this is something I've struggled with in both expensive and budget palettes. There is very little fallout with the shades (yes, even the mattes!) and they are really easy to apply and blend. Even the packaging is pretty sturdy; I've dropped it three times and it's unharmed! The options for creating looks are just endless (there's an equivalent shade for each Naked shade so you can follow Naked 1, 2 & 3 youtube tutorials!) and all for £4.

Face

Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer, £3.50

I honestly can't rave about this product enough! I got it in the colour Bloom (review here) and it's started a whole liquid blusher obsession. It applies beautifully, is crazy pigmented, it's durable, so easy to use and I love this colour (a soft peach). I'd love for MUR to bring out even more shades. It's honestly up there with Nars Orgasm as my current favourite blusher!

Sleek Single Blush, £4.49

I don't actually own many of the single Sleek blushes, I tend to get their palettes, but I do have Rose Gold. It's a fantastic dupe for Nars Orgasm (comparison here); a beautiful pink-peach with gold running through it. It's soooo pigmented too! These are perfect for when you want to have a guilt-free treat with a bit of colour.

Tools

e.l.f. Studio Complexion Brush, £3.95

I love love love this brush! I don't know how they make such amazing brushes so cheaply (reviews here), but I don't feel the need to go anywhere else for my makeup brushes these days. This complexion brush is so soft and really thick and the bristles pick up the perfect amount of face powder. It also washes really well!

e.l.f. Studio Stipple Brush, £3.95

This is just fantastic value for money (reviews here); I didn't think it would stay in the same condition after months washing it and using different products with it, but it really did! It's the perfect size for even, brushstroke-free foundation coverage.

What are your ultra-affordable beauty favourites? :)
