We're back at the drugstore, but this time we're talking summer hair, body and skin care...

I have two body moisturisers here; one is an exfoliating option and the other is just for everyday nourishment. Now that my limbs have come out of hiding at long last, I've definitely been noticing they need some TLC. I have pretty dry skin all year round and I'm prone to KP, so it's important for me to keep things moisturised and exfoliated so my body skin looks and feels as smooth as possible. Every other night, before bed I apply the Aveeno Skin Renewal Firming Lotion* | £14.99. I loved the richer, creamier version of this in the winter, and this formula offers a quick and easy lightweight option that's along the same lines. It's formulated with Aveeno's signature soothing oat extract, plus there's skin-softening shea butter in the mix and PHAs, a gentle, hydrating class of chemical exfoliants. This results in an irritation-free skin-smoothing benefit that I can see a difference with from the morning after application. After showering in the morning, I really need to lock in the moisture with something rich and skin-softening. The Astral Intensive Moisture Cream with Shea Butter* | £5.49 | is a total steal for just that purpose! This cream does need a little more working into the skin, but I do love that it provides the nourishment I need whilst drying down to a completely non-greasy finish. Shea butter softens the skin, whereas the occlusives in this formula trap in hydration, making it perfect to apply post shower. Plus, it smells amazing and summery!

In terms of body care, I also have to shout out the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream | £9.50. Not everyone has skin as dry as mine... but for me: the first time I got out my sandals this year was a bit of a wake up call. My feet were so dry! The heels and the knuckles of my toes were not looking sandal-ready, so for 3 days, I applied this every night for an intensive exfoliating treatment and it did the trick. I'm now using this once a week for general maintenance. This foot cream is formulated to hydrate and nourish the skin, as well as to strengthen its natural barrier with ceramides and hyaluronic acid. There's also salicylic acid exfoliation in here to cut through dry, rough skin. My boyfriend couldn't believe the results with this foot cream and that it completely negates the need to file the skin on the feet!

Let's move on to haircare. For summer, most of us want a less-fussy routine, so both of these products are designed to get the most hair bang for your buck. The first thing I have is a quick 60 second step that seriously makes a difference for my hair. The Umberto Giannini Shine Juice Conditioning Water | £9.95 | can be squirted directly onto the lengths and ends of the hair between shampooing and conditioning. You simply massage it onto the hair for a few seconds, rinse and continue your routine, but it adds a really nice glossiness to the hair that's noticeable after blow-drying and just leaves things looking nice and healthy. Perfect for reviving hair that's maybe had a bit too much sun! The other product is an obvious one for summer and festival season, but I reach for it regularly. The Colab Dry Shampoo | £3.50 | is one of the only formulas I've tried that doesn't upset my sensitive scalp, and none of the others that made the cut are this affordable! This is a lightweight, ultra-fine dry shampoo that's pretty much traceless and isn't at all chalky once applied. The scents this comes in are also great! It absorbs excess oils and offers a little volume boost without it feeling like there's product accumulating in your hair. Perfect for a quick refresh in warm weather when you don't have time for a full hair wash.

Lastly, of course we have some skincare! Firstly, a light summer moisturiser that still does the job for my skin: the Bondi Sands Daydream Whipped Moisturiser* | £9.99. This is a creamy lotion that absorbs effortlessly into the skin but still leaves it soft and happy. It's formulated with hydration-boosting glycerin, skin-softening plant oils and butters and plant extracts that are rich in skin-protecting antioxidants. It's simple but it gives my skin everything it needs! A new discovery this summer has been the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid Glow SPF 50+ | £12.99. This is a kind of skincare-makeup hybrid that has a warm tinted tone and a pearly finish to add a sun-kissed glow to my complexion (if you have paler skin, the Invisible version will be a better option). This applies perfectly and works in harmony with the rest of my skincare and makeup products. Plus it contains a broad spectrum SPF 50+ level of protection to protect your skin on the higher UV index days we're getting now!

Have you tried any of these products? Are there any others you'd add to this list?
