It's time for a tour of my go-to beauty products for the season. My top makeup, skincare, hair and body picks for summer are after the jump...

- MAKEUP -

A go-to product for me on hot days has been the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer | £27 | full review. This gel primer provides lightweight hydration and really helps my makeup last longer when I want to wear it on the hotter days we've had so far this summer. I also really enjoy using the Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face & Body Illuminator in Spectrum Bronze | £26 (15% off with code JASMINETALKS_LF) | either on top of makeup for a glossy skin look, underneath (like a primer) or mixed in with my base makeup to up the glow. This is a gorgeous molten metal bronze-gold to give a sunkissed look to the skin. It has a gel-like texture, so you can sheer it out really nicely and it doesn't take off your complexion makeup as you blend.

This summer, my most-used complexion product has probably been the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF30 | £43 | full review. This is a really lightweight base that still goes a good job of harmonising my skin tone, evening out redness and reducing the appearance of veins. It has a lovely, dewy look on the skin and is also really long-wearing. It's perfect for when you just want a little something on your skin without the heaviness of a foundation. An old favourite of mine is the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer (Ginger) | £24 (15% off with code JASMINETALKS_LF). Despite having a 'matte' formula; this is so quick and easy to dab on the skin, just using the warmth of your fingers. It's really long-wearing and gives a solid medium coverage.

My most-used bronzer this summer has to be the Fenty Cheeks Out Cream Bronzer in Hunnie Glaze | £28 | full review. I just love this product! It has the perfect level of pigmentation and brings the glow without being overly greasy. It's long-wearing and can be applied quickly and easily with a dense synthetic brush. This is my perfect warm-but-not-orange tone that makes me look like I've caught the sun. A bit of this on the outer parameters of my face and a touch on my nose gives me that holiday look, despite not having made it on holiday this year so far... Sticking with the cream vibe, I'm really enjoying the Dominique Cosmetics Skin Gloss in Glossed Peach | £24. This was half price as part of Beauty Bay's summer sale, so I snapped it up, despite not really having been interested before in what I'd seen as a glam-oriented Instagram brand. This is actually really gorgeous; it definitely has a glossy, emollient texture, so won't be for everyone, but I love the look it gives my skin. This golden-peach tone is also perfect for summer and my skin tone.

Also in the cream cheek category, I couldn't not mention my beloved Kosas Colour + Light Creme in Helios | £28. This has a dewy, emollient formula that's easy to dab on with your fingers and has a long-wearing finish. the highlighter is a beautiful warm, light gold and the blusher a reddish-orange, which really works with my makeup looks of choice. Another quick and easy option is the Ilia Colour Haze Pigment in Stutter | £30. This matte pigment can be used on the lips or a tiny bit patted on the cheeks for long-wearing colour. I really love this warm burnt orange shade for a summer makeup look.

Continuing with colour products, on the eyes I like the Nudestix Magnetic Luminous Eye Colour in Copper Foil | £20. The Nudestix eyeshadow crayons have a gorgeous metallic finish and this is a warm gold colour that's perfect for summer. As long as you pair it with an eye primer, it also has great longevity. For lips, I have one sheeny, quick and easy option for the day, and a more matte, evening-appropriate product - both in that orange-red colour family I love at this time of year. The Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Punch | £19.50 | is a moisturising pop of colour with SPF, so as the colour fades throughout the day, you reapply it and at the same time you're topping up your protection. The Ofra Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever | £15.50 | is my matte option for the evening. I recently repurchased this but it's an old favourite! It's a bold lip that still seems wearable and the orange undertone to the red shade means it works on my skin tone and is gorgeous for this time of year.

- SKINCARE -

My go-to cleanser this summer has easily been the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser* | £30 (150ml) | full review. I recently cracked open a new tube and remembered why I loved it so much to begin with! This is a non-foaming gel cleanser that removes dirt and sweat, leaving my skin feeling clean, but also soft and moisturised (as opposed to stripped). After cleansing, a face mist is an essential. You can even throw it in your handbag if you're heading outside to keep your skin's moisture levels up (I know some people think you shouldn't do this because hyaluronic acid pulls water deep into the skin - even from its surface - but the vast majority of what's in a mist is water, so I find it's fine for me). My current go-to is the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Water Drench Hydrating Toner Mist | £21.56 (15% off with code JASMINETALKS_15). This hydrating mist is packed full of hyaluronic acid, so is perfect to instantly soften and hydrate, whilst having a light texture that isn't at all sticky. I've not heard many people talk about this product, but I really rate it!

My go-to daytime moisturiser this summer has really been the Volition Beauty Celery Green Cream* | £46. This is formulated with my essential summer ingredient of hyaluronic acid, as well as reparative peptides and antioxidants to protect the skin from free radicals. I love the fresh, gel-texture formula of this cream for summer. At the same time, it's still enough for my normal-dehydrated skin and does a great job of locking in the hydration throughout my day.

A more recent addition to my lineup has been the Nuori Sun Repair Serum* | £50. This is a lovely product to repair your skin overnight following sun exposure. Of course, you need to be using and reapplying sunscreen throughout the day, but the sun can also just really dehydrate and dry out your skin, which is where something like this comes in. It contains water-attracting hyaluronic acid, soothing chamomile and aloe, Vitamins C and E to protect the skin and moisturisers like sweet almond oil and rosehip oil. I really like the deep moisture this gives my skin and how it replenishes the skin barrier overnight, so my skin feels soft, smooth and moisturised by morning.

On sunny days, I've been using an SPF 50, but overall my most-used sunscreen this summer has still been the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 30 | £30 | full review. This product makes wearing sunscreen every day incredibly easy; it's clear so there's no white cast, it doesn't ball up when I apply my primer and makeup and it gives my skin a gorgeous glow without feeling greasy.

- BODY ETC. -

On my body I've really been enjoying the Bali Body Grape Tanning Oil SPF 15* | £18.95. Just as a bit of a disclaimer; I don't recommend using this as your primary sun protection. To me, this is a lovely, non-greasy moisturising body oil with a light-fruity scent and I think of it as a more affordable alternative to something like the Nuxe dry oil. It's only an SPF 15, so if it's a more overcast day and you're wearing a t-shirt, you have that bit of protection there, but if it's sunny and you're heading outdoors; you need to put on something stronger. However, as a body product - I really do like this! I have very dry skin on my body and this softens and smooths it.

In terms of fragrance, I have 'the scent of summer'; Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '62 Eau de Parfum* | £78. I absolutely love the fragrances Sol de Janeiro do; they're warm, summery and indulgent! This is the perfume incarnation of the famous Bum Bum cream with notes of salted caramel, pistachio, jasmine and vanilla. My only negative is that I don't find this lasts that long on the skin and this gorgeous packaging belongs on my dressing table, not in my bag. If longevity bothers you, they also do full-sized and mini body sprays in this scent and the cocoa cabana fragrance (I was back home the weekend before last and my mum has the shower cream in this - I tried it and it's delicious, so I'll definitely be getting that too!) - the plastic packaging means you can just throw those into your bag and top up your scent throughout the day.

Finally, I have a hair pick in the Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfood Hair Mask | £30. The sun and the sea (if you're lucky enough to be able to get to a beach at the moment!) really can wreak havoc on your hair, so using a nice treatment to counteract the dryness and damage is essential. I love this gorgeous-smelling, lightweight hair mask because it softens and moisturises my hair without being at all greasy.
