I've not treated myself to new makeup for a while, but a few new launches from Charlotte Tilbury caught my eye... so today I'm reviewing the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Pillow Talk Intense | £25 | and the Eye Colour Magic Copper Charge Luxury Palette | £40 | and Magic Liner Duo | £21.

Let's start with the Eye Colour Magic collection. I have to admit I totally ignored the concept of this collection and just picked the colour family that most appealed to me personally! The idea is that you have a palette for each eye colour containing complementing shades for it - so, browns for blue eyes, blues for brown eyes, purples for green eyes and greens for hazel eyes. However, obviously there's nothing stopping you from picking whatever shades you like the look of!

The product I had to have was the Copper Charge eyeshadow quad. Almost all of Charlotte's palettes follow the format of a priming / highlighting shade, a more metallised shimmer, a more glizy shimmer and a smoky matte. In Copper Charge, we have a warm sheeny metallic champagne as the Prime colour, a warm metallic copper as the Enhance shade, a very shimmery warm gold as the Pop and a deep, rich warm reddish terracotta-brown matte to add that Smoke. All in all, I think the colour story is beautiful and right up my street! Every single shade is stunning and makes me weak at the knees... They're also an absolute dream to work with, the matte shade blends out beautifully and has incredible pigment and the shimmers are so smooth and opaque. I wouldn't say the shimmers last incredibly well on the eyes, however it's fairly minor fading, so I can't be too angry. All-in-all, I think once I'm leaving the house a bit more regularly, this will be a go-to palette of mine. It takes me from day to evening and adds a bit of glam to my routine without being anything over-the-top.

I honestly wasn't planning on getting the matching liner too, but I just saw it and thought it was so beautiful! Each of these liners are dual ended with one side being metallic and the other matte, and they're designed to compliment the palette they go with. Copper Charge has a warm coppery-gold Metallic shade and a deep, rich brown-tinged maroon Matte. I saw on Charlotte's Instagram that she'd done a look with these where the matte was used for winged liner, so tried this myself and (with a well-sharpened pencil) I actually got a nice, clean wing that lasted extremely well. I have also used this on the lash line to subtly add some definition and then popped the Metallic colour on the water line to brighten up my eyes. I'm really pleased with this pencil! It adds a different sort of twist to an eye look without being overly red in its tone.

The Pillow Talk lipstick is probably Charlotte's most iconic product, though it's definitely a shade that only works on light skin tones. I remember wishing back in the day that there was a deeper option, however now the Medium option has launched I actually went and had a look and decided I preferred the deeper, rosier, glossier look of the Intense version in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula than the matte, mauve undertone of Pillow Talk Medium. I'd actually only ever tried Charlotte's Matte Revolution lipsticks up until now, but I really like this more glossy, hydrating formula. This lipstick is a deep rosy pink-berry colour that just pulls together a makeup look so you're glam with minimal effort. Obviously it isn't as long-wearing as a matte, but it fades out evenly, so I really don't mind!

Have you tried or got your eye on any of the new launches from Charlotte Tilbury?
