Quick & Easy Summer Glam

When it's summer I generally just want to hurry up and get to enjoy the weather - because here in the UK the sun often doesn't last long (we're all currently pinching ourselves!) This is quick, it's easy to achieve but you'll still get that glam look!

For foundation I like to use my trusty Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup (3.5) | £33.50. Despite the name I'd say this is still a good medium-full coverage, plus it gives the long-lasting matte finish the original formula is famous for. It isn't too heavy and still lets the skin breathe whilst giving a nice flawless finish. I usually wait until after my eyeshadow to apply concealer under the eyes but for this sort of look I like to use a cream formula so there's not really going to be any fallout! I apply the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer (Medium) | £22 | for long-wearing crease-proof full coverage. It gives a flawless, brightened look under the eyes without being thick and heavy. To set it in place I use my favourite powder: the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder | £20 | review. It's just such a fine formula and really does keep things in place even when it's hot, ensuring I don't get shiny in my problem areas. It doesn't give me a white-cast or appear heavy on the skin, which I love!

For highlighter, you just know it had to be the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sundipped Glow Kit* | £41! This palette contains 4 gorgeous, high-impact, dewy-look highlighters, all of which are perfect for a bronzed makeup look. The formula is so smooth and contains not a single fleck of glitter. It's the perfect way to get a dewy look without adding anything oily to the skin. I love using the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Sunset* | £34 | for bronzing. This is matte-look on the skin but the formula does have a slight pearly sheen. These are so pigmented that you really only need 1-2 drops - I swipe the product beneath my cheekbones and blend it out with a damp beauty sponge, dabbing the excess onto the outer parts of my face for a really natural, warm glow. Once I've finished applying my liquid products, I set the cheeks any any problem areas with the Too Faced powder before going in with the Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Ginger Pop | £17. This formula is a sort of luminous matte, containing a very slight sheen that makes it so easy to blend. It's pigmented but not over-the-top and really lasts on my skin. I love this reddish-orange coral for summer.

On the eyes, I like to keep it simple but glam and the Touch in Sol Metallist in Eldora* | £20 | is perfect for that. You simply swipe the product onto the lids and blend out with your fingers - once it sets down it doesn't budge. You can use the soft metallic sheeny gold on its own but I like to add the bright gold foiled glitter on top to get that glam look. Across the lower lash line I use the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze | £19. It has a soft metallic finish and is pigmented and long-lasting despite the creamy formula on application. This bronzed golden-brown adds a smoky vibe to the look and you can fan this out slightly to give that winged look along the lower lash line without the faff of a black liner pen.

For some final touches, I add mascara, brows and of course some lipstick! My go-to mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational | £8.99. There's a waterproof version which is fine but I prefer this formula and think it definitely works for an evening look and doesn't smudge on my eyes. It gives that gorgeous length, curl and separated volume I like. A quick and easy fix for getting a fairly bold brow look with minimal effort is the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil* (Dark Brunette) | £29. The angled shape and the formula make it so easy to apply this and get the shape I like in a couple of minutes. It lasts really well on me plus you can brush your brows through with the spoolie to get a more natural look. Finally, I love my Nars Audacious Lipstick in Jane | £26 | for a summer makeup look. It is a creamy formula so does transfer but the pigmentation is amazing and it's very comfortable to wear. This reddy coral is perfect for summer and creates a bold look in one step.

What makeup do you go for during the summer to get a glam look with minimal effort?
