Minimal Autumn Makeup | eLLa every LiTTLE thing07 Guest Post

One of my favourite bloggers, Ella from Every Little Thing 07 is guest-posting on my blog today. She's sharing a minimal Autumn face of the day, so I hope you enjoy. Her social links are at the bottom of the post so you can go and follow her after.

Autumn is probably my favourite season although it is a big toss between summer and autumn. For this season, I always try to have a minimal make-up. As the days get colder, my desire to stay longer in bed increases so a quick make-up look in the morning is definitely the more practical choice. Even though it is a minimal make-up routine, I also aim to look more polish in the quickest way.

Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer | £38

I believe that a good base is always necessary to have a good make-up. My primer of choice is the Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer. It is like the best primer there is. It is so lightweight on the skin and I find that it soothes my irritable skin. Any base or foundation that you put on top of it becomes so comfortable. It also makes your base lasts ages. As it is tinted, it already covers some imperfections of the skin. It is just one amazing primer despite its steep price.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer | £27

I was never a fan of powder foundation until I encountered the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer. Since I got this, I have been using it almost daily. When applied, this is also incredibly light on the skin. Despite the lightness, this offers serious coverage. It offers medium to high coverage and despite if you layer it up, it will never appear cake-y. This also lasts for more than 7 hours without primer. When paired with the Sunday Riley Primer, this just lasts ages without budging. This has a matte finish and you can say goodbye to oily skin when you use this.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer | £17.50

As you can tell, I love lightweight products and this concealer is no exception. This is very light on the skin thus the Naked name. It is also very creamy and packed with serious coverage. You just need a few dabs on the skin and et viola, you have a well-covered skin.

Chanel Jersey Powder Blush | £31

I always lust over Chanel cosmetics. Their minimalist packaging is always on point. The Jersey blush has been a present to me last Christmas and I just love it since then. Jersey is a beautiful peachy brown with very small and subtle gold shimmers. The gold shimmers gives a nice glow when applied to the skin and you can hardly see it. This is a beautiful everyday blush and it feels luxurious and buttery which I am expecting coming from Chanel.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer | £17.50

The most beautiful highlighter there is is the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter. It is a champagne-y highlighter and gives a very sheeny finish but not glittery. It is the most beautiful highlighter there is in my opinion. This also lasts for more than 6 hours which gains another thumbs up from me.

Too Face Better Than Sex Mascara | £19

To be honest, I despise the name of this mascara but we will just forget its name as it's the product that counts, right? The mascara is packaged in a very pretty pink tube which makes my heart skips a beat due to its prettiness. This mascara has natural bristles in twisted/spiral pattern that gives you thick lashes without clumping. This is one mascara definitely worth owning.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick | $20

Since I saw the swatches of the new shades of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, I have been dreaming over them for ages. Well I finally get a few shades from the range they are what my dreams of liquid lipsticks are made of. It is so comfortable on the lips and stays for ages. It is also very pigmented and gives a very smooth finish without settling on the cracks of the lips. It has a super matte finish and look super beautiful on the lips.

So this is my minimal Autumnal FOTD. I hope you enjoy reading my post and a big thank you to Jasmine for asking me to guest post in her awesome blog.

XoXo,
eLLa

  5. Oh wow, a minimal make up and still opting for Mary-Lou? I'd never think of that. It's just a bit too sparkly for an everyday minimal look, in my opinion. I'd rather use my Benefit Watt's Up or Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze&Glow. I usually don't go for highlighter on an everyday basis, if I want a bit of sheen going on I'll use a radiant blush like the Hourglass one!

  8. I've never tried Mary Lou Manizer but my go to highlighters are Benefit Sunbeam and Becca Shimmering Perfector in Opal. That mascara has long been in my radar but I have so many to go through now, it will be mine in the future...well, as soon as I'm done with the ones I have. LOL!
