Summer Scents | Soap & Glory Body Sprays*

I'm having a real Soap & Glory moment right now so I was excited to receive their Body Sprays* (£4 each) to try out. For on-the-go and especially during summer I really love body sprays. I find few perfumes last me the day and I hate lugging heavy, delicate glass bottles around in my handbag. Also, for a day at the beach where I'll be in and out of the water, I don't want to wear an expensive perfume.

This is my least favourite from the range so I thought I'd get it out of the way first! On paper it sounds like something I should like with hints of Mandarin, Bergamot, Cardemon, Freesia and Magnolia. However I think it smells a little bit powder-room-y and dated. A lot of people have mad love for this scent, so what do I know? But for me personally this isn't the one I reach for.

Original Pink*

This is basically 'Soap and Glory: the Fragrance' so if you're at all familiar with their products you will recognise this scent! It's comprised of Bergamot, Mandarin and Musk. Whilst I do prefer the fresher scents in this line, this is such a familiar scent to me, I just can't resist it.

Fruitigo*

This is my favourite scent of the bunch! I love anything with Fig and that is definitely the overriding note in Fruitigo. There's also Frozen Yuzu and Jungle Polemo Essence in the mix which give it a sweet, exotic edge. It's perfect for summer and works really well when I'm wearing my beloved Diptyque Philosykos eau de toilette.

Sugar Crush*

This is kind of like a Mojito in a body spray! It's fresh and zingy at the same time with Sweet Lime, Ginger and Brown Sugar. Again, this is perfect if you're on holiday and I like to use this after I've used the body scrub in this range.

Orangegasm*

As the (naughty) name suggest, the main scent in this one is Orange, along with Mandarin, Mint and Patchouli. It's a sweet-but-fizzy scent that reminds me a little bit of sherbet. I love this orange-with-a-twist so will definitely be checking out some more products from the Orangegasm range.

I find that these need topping up partway through the day however the travel-friendly packaging and size mean that I really don't mind throwing one into my handbag to freshen up around mid-afternoon.

All in all this is a great little range. Also they're are currently on 3 for 2 at Boots so that's even better value!

Have you tried Soap & Glory's body sprays? Which is your favourite fragrance or line they do?

  1. Oh wow, they sound so good. I'm from Germany and we only have a really small range of Soap and Glory products here. So I'm pretty sure that these won't come to our shops. But I will shop Original Pink online. I love the Soap and Glory scent! :)

  18. I agree with you, when picking out body sprays I much prefer the fresher scents as you can continue to spritz them throughout the day and not feel over-loaded or too heavy - I don't know if I could pick a favourite from these though!

  19. You always take such beautiful photos, I love your blog! I've had a lot of friends who have owned the classic Soap & Glory fragrance and I always remember it smelling so nice.. But then again that's what attracts me to most S & G products! I'm with you on carrying delicate glass perfume bottles around with me in my bag, especially since perfume is most of the time pretty expensive, I always worry I'll end up breaking it somehow & my bag will smell like Marc Jacobs Honey forever! These scents definitely seem like a very nice and easier option, I'll be checking them out! Lovely post :-)
