MAC Haul, Review & Swatches + Win a £50 Voucher with WAMO!*

When the people behind new app WAMO got in touch with me to review a brand they're featuring, of course I had to go with MAC! You can also win vouchers and prizes from brands like New Look, Bobbi Brown, Zara, Space NK and more. Being the neutrals-love I am, I took the opportunity to try out some rumoured Kylie Jenner lip shades and a complimentary blusher.

You can use the app on Android or iPhone and the £50 MAC Voucher Challenge is now open! Once you've downloaded the app and set up an account, you can look through their 'challenges'. To enter, you simply browse the brand's website through WAMO, find a product and mark it as 'love', 'hate', 'want' or 'need'. The MAC Challenge is open for 5 days from today, so hurry!  

Now onto the products I have to show you today (if you need a bit of inspiration as to what you'd spend the voucher on!)

I'm going to do a full post next week on my 90s nude lip favourites, so these two will definitely be featuring in it! I picked up the Satin Lipstick in Faux* (£15.50) and the Lip Pencil in Whirl* (£12.50). As I've mentioned before, Satin is one of my favourite MAC lipstick finishes as it's more comfortable and hydrating than a matte but has a similar effect. Although Faux is slightly sheeny I don't actually get much transfer, though it doesn't last as long as a matte. It's a gorgeous pink-mauve nude shade that's definitely a tad lighter than I usually go but I've ended up loving it. Whirl is a brown nude lip liner. The thing I love about MAC lip liners is that you can easily fill in your entire lips with them and wear that alone. Personally, I love to fill in my lips with Whirl and then wear Faux on top as a second layer.

Finally, there's the Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby* (£18). I think this is the perfect complimentary shade to a dark nude lip. I love the Sheertone finish as they look subtle and pretty for an every day look. I think this matte pink-brown nude shade is perfect to go with a 90s style lip. I find it so easy to apply and it's a great one to reach for if you're doing full-on eyes or lips or if you just don't know what to choose because it goes with everything.

This is how it looked when I applied Blushbaby to my cheeks, filled in my lips with Whirl then put Faux on top. If only I'd done matte eyes it would've been full-on Kylie Jenner! I have Woodwinked and Antiqued on my eyes, which are both MAC shades I love that you'd be able to get with the voucher.
