I got myself a few nice things this year in the post-Christmas sales but I didn't go mad for the first time ever! I stuck to things I'd had my eye on before they were discounted (it's the way to go).
In terms of fashion; I got myself 3 pairs of shoes from New Look (I didn't even know they did sales!) that came to under £25! I got a pair of Patent Chunky T-Bar Shoes in Burgundy for £6, some Cream Snakeskin Pointed Pumps (also £6) and Block Heel Tan Chelsea Boots (sold out!) for £12. Not bad! I also got Pretty Bird Shopper Bag from Accessorize, as I find them so useful.
I also got myself the KIKO Queen of Hearts Eyesadow Quad in 03 Elegant Ebony (£7.90) in London as I loved the Essential Brown shade I have in this so much! I had to get them to check the back and luckily the only box they had of them was full of the shad I'd been after. Fate brought me and this palette together! I also did a Feel Unique order. The Balm's Mary Lou-Manizer (£13) and the Real Techniques Blush Brush (£7.20) were both already 10% off but when there was a further 10% off I decided to order them at these amazing prices.
Cheating slightly as technically it's not sale but the Body Shop ran a 30% off discount on all their full price stuff alongside the Christmas sale. So I treated myself to some skincare and got the Tea Tree Face Wash for £3.50, the Aloe Calming Toner for £5.95, the Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator for £7 and the Warming Mineral Mask for £7. My mum also tracked down the full-size Lush Hot Toddy Shower Gel (£7, sold out!) for me, which was very much appreciated!
After I'd taken the photos for this post I saw this Accessorize bag on sale and given how much I love my berry version I thought I'd get it in black too. It's just the perfect size and such a practical style and I love a bit of mock croc. The Olivia Dome Textured Bag set me back just £19.80!
