As I've mentioned before I have a huge fashion and winter accessories post coming up as well as a new beauty haul, but I also recently bought a few miscellaneous cute bits that I'd like to talk about and I don't think I would outside of a haul post. So this haul includes everything from a teacup to shampoo!
Home Stuff
I'm the sort of person who just needs a nice pad to get organised! I chose this bird and floral notebook from Paperchase (I can't find it online but it was £6.50). It's nice enough that I feel motivated to keep things in order but not too expensive, as at the end of the day my scribbly notes are going in it! I also got a flyer advertising the opening of a teashop in the Manchester store so I can't wait to check that out.
Next door to Paperchase a Joy Store has opened in Manchester. I didn't really register at the time that it was the same Joy at the centre of a PR meltdown a few months back and you can't return things for a refund...however a lot of their home stuff can be found elsewhere cheaper. I got this Dotcomgiftshop Flower Trellis Stoneware Teacup (£5.90), which I mentioned I'd like the little bowl of absolutely ages ago. I thought it was too pretty to use and risk smashing so I use it as beauty storage. I also picked up a little Sewing Tin (£5), which I thought would be handy for storing spare buttons.
I randomly picked up this Spiced Buttercream Candle from Clinton's and oh my gosh it smells heavenly! It said £7 on the tin but I was charged £5 so I'm not sure if it's on offer but Clinton's have some amazing fragrances in (I couldn't find this online either!)
Yes, I'm still obsessed with Chai Tea and I decided to use it to get on the Teapigs hype! The Teapigs Chai Tea x15 costs £3.99 and I got two of them.
I also picked up some lovely burgundy-purple Primark slippers! I can't find the receipt but I think they were around the £3.50 mark - they also come in lots of different colours including tan. I'm not to keen on boot styles as I find them really hard to get clean and they get smelly quickly...and I'm not into the flip-flop style as they just fall off and are a little hazardous, so these were perfect!
I also got a dish from Homesense (£3.99), as I thought it would be cute for holding tea lights and to pose products on for blog photos - so keep an eye out for it. I also picked up a drawer tidy from them (£5.99) which I will be showing you in a beauty storage tour when I get my setup perfect!

I've not used anything else for shampoo and conditioner for a good year or so, and I tend to use more of the conditioner than the shampoo so I run out of them at different times. I picked up a new TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Resurrection Conditioner from Amazon (£14)
I wouldn't normally include random toiletries in a haul but I bought this London Makeup Bag from Primark (£3) to have in my work bag. I then bought from Primark some mini-essentials: a mini Sure Deodorant (£1), a Cuticura Vanilla Fudge Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel (£1) and the new Vintage Aloe Vera Vaseline (£1.20). I thought it would be really cute and convenient just to have this little bag full of toiletries I need during the day.
In terms of makeup I picked up the Essence Hello Autumn Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Walk in the Park, as the shades are just so me and it was so cheap! I can't find it online but I think it was around £3.50 and I bought it at the Essence stand in the Manchester Arndale.
I also got 3 Barry M palettes in the Superdrug 3 for 2. I got the Limited Edition Starry Eyed Shadow & Blush Palette, which is full of golds, blues and dark pinks and two neutral ones - Natural Glow (eyeshadows and blush) and Natural Glow 2 (eyeshadows and primer). They are £6.49 each.
I hope you enjoyed this random little haul and I'd love to know your thoughts on what I chose in the comments!
P.S. I'd love your vote at the UK Blog Awards! I'm nominated in the Lifestyle and Fashion & Retail categories!

I love Chai Tea as well, need to look for Tea Pigs as their tea is always good. How do you like the BarryM palettes? I was thinking to get one of them but wasn't really sure about the quality. xx

They're really yummy - I've realised that adding them to the machine latte at work makes a nice Chai Tea Latte haha xx
DeleteYou picked up some gorgeous things! I have one of the Barry M eyeshadow palettes and I've found it a mixed bag, I can't use the blushes but I do like the colours of the shadows. I just wish they had a bit more oomph pigmentation wise!! xx
