The second in my little Autumn/Winter fashion series is a look that keeps you really warm but doesn't look frumpy! I wore this to the Manchester Christmas Markets and when I picked the outfit I wasn't sure if I'd be out for dinner afterwards so I chose it because it's a good one to go from day to evening.
Floppy Hat, Primark, £8 (current stock), Wine-Coloured Faux Fur Stole*, Dorothy Perkins, £18 (buy here), Black Check Blanket Wrap, New Look, £19.99 (buy here), Black Textured Knit Long Sleeve Swing Dress, River Island, £32 (buy here), Tote Bag, River Island (past season - similar here), Leather Boots, Topshop (past season - similar here)
I've definitely been converted to hats recently! This is another one from Primark. I'm ale a big fan of New Look this season and they have so many lovely blanket wraps costing just £20. I've seen people belt them up but I was already feeling pretty well-accessorised! The dress (which you can't actually see very well!) is apparently long-sleeved but it's definitely 3/4 on me...regardless of that I really like it as a casual thing to throw on or even for work. I got the boots from Topshop over summer for just £15! My mum spotted them and got them for me and now Autumn has set in I'm really glad to have a trusty pair of black boots.
I'm more than a little bit obsessed with oxblood and burgundy shades at the moment so hopefully I can grab a handbag in the perfect colour and put that into my epic fashion haul to show you soon! The fur stole is one of the goodies I picked up at the Fashionchick event!
Where are you buying your winter wardrobe from this year?
