It's that time again! Sit down, relax, get yourself a PSL if you're that way inclined, and let's get into the Autumn Beauty Edit...

- SKINCARE -

Starting with skin, I'm all about nourishment and hydration at the moment. The heating is starting to go on and my face is parched. One of my current go-to products is the Paula's Choice Omega + Complex Cleansing Balm | £25 | full review. I like this for removing sunscreen, my everyday makeup and even sometimes in the morning when I want something really gentle and replenishing. It has this really interesting melting texture that's neither overly rich nor heavy. I'm also loving layering in the hydration and the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wild Oat Toner | £19 | full review coming soon. This is packed full of oat extracts, squalane, hyaluronic acid and honey to make a lightweight, non-sticky, fast-absorbing toner with body. It really calms my skin and packs in that hydration I'm craving.

To be honest, the COSRX Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream* | £28 | full review | was in a tub of products that really needed finishing off, so as the weather started to cool down, I thought it would be a good one to get back out. I'm sorry, but why did I ever put this down...? I don't know what I was thinking but this is buttery, softening, smoothing goodness for my face. It's formulated with ceramides to help reduce irritation and prevent water loss through the skin and also soothing centella asiatica. It's gorgeous and I can use this AM or PM.

As a little bit of a topper when I need it, I also have the REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm* | £42 | full review. This is an oil-based balm I apply to areas where my skin tends to dry out overnight and it really creates that occlusive layer to stop the water loss that occurs from the skin overnight. The Summer Fridays Heavenly Sixteen All-in-One Face Oil | £50 | full review | has had my heart as of late too. I love an oil as the final step in my evening routine to lock everything in and this is a beautiful option that's not too heavy or too greasy and layers beautifully with the rest of my skincare. It's formulated with a blend of non-fragrant plant oils, including some of my favourites like squalane, hemp and rosehip.

- MAKEUP -

I'm pretty lazy and rarely bother with primer, however I am partial to a bit of a mixing medium and I recently repurchased the MAC Strobe Cream in Goldlite | £26. This has a soft yellow-gold sheen to it and is gorgeous mixed in with my beloved Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser* (St. Moritz) | £33 | full review. Will I ever do a seasonal edit without this baby? I doubt it; it's always relevant and appropriate! It's my perfect natural, 'my skin but better' formula that evens out my skin tone, hides any redness but is so radiant, light and breathable. I just love it!

Has a colour story ever been more autumnal than the Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Palette | £27? I honestly reach for very few other premade palettes outside of these mini selections because the shades are always well thought-out and very complimentary and I love the formula. It's long-wearing with pigmented, easy-to-blend mattes and these stunning pops of metallic which I press onto the centre of my lids with my fingers. I love this selection of warm, rich browns, golds and coppers for this time of year!

Moving on to more colour products, I find the 1Day Multitint in Rust | $40 | pairs perfectly on the cheeks with these sorts of warm brown makeup looks (you can use it on the lips too, if you like). It goes on evenly, lasts pretty well and just pulls everything together with a natural flush of the same sort of warm brown colour. For the lips, I have a glossy option and a matte option. When my lips are a bit sore from the cold, I do gravitate more towards the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream in Honey Waffles | £17. I just love a yellow-warm undertone-d brown and this is an easy-to-apply more pigmented gloss. It's not sticky and feels comfortable to wear. For more of a pulled-together evening look, I reach for the Sunnies Face Lip Dip in Terracotta | $16.95. This isn't drying, it's actually quite creamy, kind of like that old Bourjois formula we all used to love it's really only that a matte finish doesn't tend to be my choice if things are dry and cracked! This glides on and doesn't cling, plus when it fades it doesn't go patchy or peel off, though and has a reddish-brown tone to it that's perfect for autumn.

- BODY, SCENT ETC. -

Lastly, we have the miscellaneous items. I always loved the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm | £19.50 | but I have to say: I love it a lot more now the packaging doesn't fall to bits before you've even finished the tube! I've been using this morning an night since the weather started getting colder; it's not overly thick and heavy but still contains a gorgeous blend of ingredients to nourish the lips, including shea butter and merumeru.

Now it's cooler again, I'm back on a favourite from last year: the Huxley Secret of Sahara Moroccan Gardener Body Oil* | £32 (15% off with code JASMINETALKSBEAUTY (affiliate code / link). I honestly think this is one of the best smells in the world! Think lush grass, musk and florals with this slightly sweet heart. Plus it blends together nourishing oils that my dry skin loves like rosehip, sunflower seed and prickly pear, without feeling at all greasy.

Lastly, we have my scent of the season (perhaps a little predictable but I'm rarely tempted by new fragrances): the Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace Eau de Toilette | £99. This is such a unique scent and the way it lingers on the skin all day... *chef's kiss*. It has this warm woodiness but the masculinity of that is balanced with this slight sweetness. The notes include chestnut, vanilla and wood. It's the perfect cosy fragrance for this time of year.
