When it's cold and dark outside, all I want to do is cosy up in the warmth and what better way to do so than to treat yourself to a nice, moisturising facial? These are the products I've been reaching for on those occasions...

Of course, the first step in my routine is removing any makeup I have on from the day. I love using the Good Molecules Instant Cleansing Balm* | $15 | full review. This is a solid cleansing balm that softens into an oil-based makeup remover, lifting makeup so it can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth. I love this product because it's gentle, effective and doesn't leave a film on the surface of my skin or any sort of residual greasiness. I then go in with the nourishing Wow You! Zen Cleanser | £16 (use code JASMINE15 for 15% off - affiliate code / link). I like to use this with my Foreo Luna Mini 2* | £119 | full review | to just kick up its effectiveness to the next level and give some light exfoliation. This cleanser is so rich and nourishing, which is exactly what my skin craves during cold, harsh winter weather. It's formulated with good stuff like avocado, cucumber and oat, to feed my skin, leaving it soft and moisturised.

I've really been into the Sukin Rosehip Rich Moisture Facial Masque* | £11.95 | lately too. This is a really nourishing cream mask formulated with soothing and hydrating aloe vera and Vitamin E, as well as one of my favourite skincare ingredients: rosehip oil. This wonder-oil is not only incredibly softening and moisturising the skin, but it can help even out its tone and has healing properties. I leave it on for 15 minutes or so before rinsing, to deliver lasting moisture to my skin. I then like to pat on the Herbal Essentials Refreshing Toner* | £15. This lightweight but hydrating toner is formulated with cucumber and rose water. I find it really calms and moisturises my skin, not just providing initial relief from dryness but lasting hydration.

I've recently been enjoying a combination of two serums - very extra, I know! I'll start off with my Beauty Pie Super Active Capsules Ceramides + | £7.55 | full review. These capsules contain ceramides, to replenish the skin and strengthen its natural barrier. They're also super-moisturising and leave my skin soft and silky. I then lock that in using the Face Theory Lipade Q10 Oil Booster Serum | £18.99. This also contains ceramides along with CoQ10 (a powerful antioxidant that can fight against ageing free radicals) and nourishing, softening, non-fragrant oils like echium, marula and rosehip. I like to work this serum in using a facial roller, so not only do I get a nice relaxing facial massage by doing this, but it really helps depuff the skin and the oil to absorb. This oil-serum is one I tend to use before bed because it is more on the nourishing side, but my skin drinks it up at this time of year.

I don't usually get a very dry eye area but during the winter months, I like something a little richer. The Cerave Eye Repair Cream* | £11 | fits the bill perfectly; it's nourishing with skin-strengthening ceramides and hyaluronic acid to draw water into the skin, however it doesn't feel too heavy for my skin. I follow that up with my beloved Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask | £41 | full review. I've been a fan of this cream night mask for a while now - it just revives dull, dry winter skin with its moisturising and glow-boosting ingredients. Avocado is packed full of vitamins and fatty acids to nourish and replenish the skin and this mask is also formulated with PHAs, to very gently exfoliate the skin so you also wake up to smoother, softer and more radiant skin. Finally, I really love the Primark x Alex Steinherr Sleep Spa Overnight Lip Mask | £4 | full review. This is so nourishing and softening, stopping my lips getting dry, cracked or chapped during the colder months.
