8 Beauty Blogs You Should Be Following

Sharing the love is something I think we should all do a bit more of! So today I'm talking about my favourite blogs right now (besides the obvious ones you already know about). There are many reasons why I hit the 'follow' button but these are the the blogs that I never skip over a post from!

Sally is definitely one of those bloggers whose personality comes through in her writing. I absolutely love her beauty content but I also really enjoy her more personal posts (probably because we're of a similar age so I can relate to a lot of what she says!) Her beauty posts are a good mix of in-depth reviews and themed overviews. I also love her photography - again it really reflects her personality and I could spot one of her photos a mile away!

Lily is basically the queen of light and airy photography! Pretty much every image that she takes goes into my 'inspiration' collection, as she's just so talented. Lily has an amazing eye for decor and for adding touches to her images that makes them look varied without compromising her personal style. Pretty much every gorgeously-packaged product that she features seems to make its way onto my wish list!

Leanne just keeps bringing content and products that interest me and make me want to keep reading. I only have to so much as think about purchasing a new product and Leanne has a review up! I think we have pretty similar taste in makeup too, which always helps.

I've mentioned a few times how much I love Kelsey's blog! Her photography style is gorgeous and she basically epitomises that effortlessly cool Milk/Glossier minimalist beauty trend. Her content is very much focussed on products that are wearable on an everyday basis for a fresh-faced look, which is both a breath of fresh air (when Instagram is all about power-brows and Kylie Jenner lips!) and what an office-worker like me really wants from the blogs I read.

Jennifer's photos look straight out of a Harper's Bazaar editorial! They're honestly so dreamy, chic and romantic. However this isn't one of those blogs you click on for the aesthetic and then end up being disappointed with the writing (or lack thereof). I love the detail in her posts as well as her approach to beauty. The makeup and products she features are so fresh, so beautiful, so classic and have an everyday effortlessness to them (which is what I'm all about!)

I especially enjoy her home decor posts because they are all of the copper and marble dreams... Sophie has the dreamiest makeup collection and her skincare recommendations are always spot-on.

There's something effortlessly cool about Laura's blog. I really appreciate her fresh take on product reviews because she frames them in a way that always makes me click to read more! She also blogs every day so it's like a bite-sized dose of beauty that's just the perfect length to have a read of on your morning commute. I'm barely aware of a product's release before Laura has blogged about it and I've clicked the 'add to wish list' button!

I originally discovered her on Instagram, as one of the bloggers who has a similar skin tone to me, however she's been back into blogging in a big way over the past few months, which I'm really happy about. Her posts are both chatty and incredibly detailed and helpful. She doesn't post daily because her posts are so in-depth but when one of them crops up in my feed, I know it'll be well worth reading!
