It's time for the next part of my little series (check out the other posts here) and this week we're focussing on Nuxe. This is a going to be a little bit different because I tend to go for body products as opposed to facial skincare from this brand, though I definitely want to try more from them.
Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Use Dry Oil | £17 | This is a really interesting formula because although it's obviously an oil, the key part of the name is 'dry' - it isn't at all greasy or slippery to the touch. It just sinks into the skin and nourishes it without leaving behind any excess. You can use this on your hair too and it really does smooth out dry ends, though I tend to just apply it to my body. It's so lightweight and easy to spread and work in. It also smells beautiful, but we'll get onto that later...
Ingredients include: Vitamin E, Sweet Almond Oil, Camellia

Huile Prodigieuse Or Shimmer Multi-Use Dry Oil (not pictured) | £19 | This was my hero product over summer! It's the same as the original version but has a fine golden shimmer running through it to give you that 'golden goddess' look. In the evening on holiday, I loved using a bit of this on my legs to add an extra 'something'.
Bougie Prodigieux Perfume | £43.50 | I loved the scent of the dry oils so much that when I saw there was a fragrance, I had to get my hands on it! It's really hard to describe but to me this just smells of Summer - it's warm, deep and sun-drenched. If you like quite a heady scent but want something less heavy and masculine then definitely check this out.
Notes include: Orange Blossom, Magnolia, Vanilla

Reve de Miel Lip Balm | £9.50 | It's no secret that this is my all-time favourite lip balm! It has quite a thick texture so I use it overnight, however it's worth it for the amazing results. It's so nourishing and even during the winter months I hardly have to use a scrub because this leaves my lips so soft and relieves any dry patches overnight.
Ingredients include: Honey, Shea Butter, Grapefruit Essence

Reve de Miel Hand & Nail Cream | £11 | This has quickly become my favourite hand cream. I tend to use it overnight but it's still lightweight enough for the daytime so I can see myself buying another one to have at my desk once the cold weather really sets in. It has the same beautiful honey scent as the lip balm and is the most incredibly nourishing formula for dry hands. I love how it doesn't leave my hands feeling slippery or greasy whilst still being so hydrating.
Ingredients include: Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Honey

Reve de Miel Ultra Comfort Face Cream | £25 | Ok, this is definitely a winter-only product for me (because my face is prone to shine during the warmer months!) but I love it for that. It's very nourishing and really soothes my skin when it's feeling dry and sensitive. It is slightly rich but still doesn't leave me looking too greasy. If you have combination skin that's prone to being a little dry during the Winter then I'd recommend using this overnight and when your skin is looking especially dry. If you have normal or dry skin then I think you'll love using this every single day.
Ingredients include: Shea Butter, Honey, Argan Oil
Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals | £16 | I'm not usually the biggest fan of manual exfoliation, however I really like this scrub! Instead of nasty microbeads, it contains natural exfoliation particles in the form of dried rose petals. It cleanses as well as buffing away dead skin cells and never leaves my skin feeling stripped of moisture.

I love the sound of the gel with the rose petals! How amazing is that?! I love the fact it has nothing nasty in! Not only is it bad for the environment but clogs the sink up, nightmare on both! I might have to give that a try! It's not a bad price to!

I really love vanilla notes in perfume. Vanilla is my all time favourite smell. Now, after reading about this perfume, I kinda want to add it to my perfume collection haha! Enjoyed reading the post!

It's so beautiful - I'm sure you won't regret it :) xx
DeleteI absolutely love the lip balm! I just need to remember to use it everynight - if I leave it until my lips are dry and cracked I find it quite painful to apply. I also used a moisturiser from Nuxe a while back that I loved, though have to admit it's a little pricey for me to stick to using! x

As Nuxe isn't a brand I know very well, I've really enjoyed reading this post! I've read great things about the Rêve de Miel Ultra Comfort Face Cream and it sounds pretty lovely for the colder months indeed!

Dry oils are so convenient! They make my skin feel so moisturised without having to apply any thick lotions.

I had a sample of the shower gel from this range recently & loved it so would love to try the body oil & hand cream. I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the lip balm, although everybody else seems to love it! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautylymin
I really want to try the shower gel - I think my mum has it xx
DeleteI have only used the NUXE Riel De Lip Balm, it is amazing. I have to purchase another one for this time of the year!!!

The Nuxe Rev De Miel lip balm is by far my favourite too - I must try the hand and nail cream!
ReplyDeleteLucy | Forever September
I bought the reve de miel lip balm and while its very moisturising, i find the texture quite grainy. Especially during the colder months. Is this normal? I had the brozing dry oil as well many years ago and really enjoyed it. I recommend buying a mini size in it as a little goes a long way and it is a "special occasion / holiday" product most ppl wouldnt use in their day to day
ReplyDeleteThe Reve de Miel lip balm is also one of my favourite, it´s a total lifesaver when my lips get extremely dry.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the dry oil.
Great post!

I've never tried anything from Nuxe before but I really want to! I've heard so many different products raved about so I find choosing what to invest in a little overwhelming but it's definitely a brand I want to try sooner than later. I think I'll start with the Reve De Miel lipbalm though - it seems to be absolutely everyones favourite! x

I was going to purchase the shimmer oil in the summer as I noticed Boots were selling it, and it looks stunning. For some reason I totally forgot, oops. Maybe next year!

I definitely recommend grabbing it next summer :) xx

DeleteI love the sound of the face cream, I need a good nourishing one. I'm huge fan of the lip balm! I now want everything you talked about here xx

I've been wanting to try their dry oil for ages - it sounds great! x

I'm with you on physical exfoliants but the gel sounds wonderful, sometimes my skin needs a teeny bit of abrasion that a chemical exfoliant is just not going to give - I'm on another skincare kick, hoarding products like a loony, so will definitely check this out

I've never tried anything from Nuxe, but that lip balm is such a cult favorite that I feel like I need to give it a try! Dry oils are so nice, too - I hate that greasy feeling that some oils leave!

This dry oil sounds perfect for you in that case :) xx
DeleteI looooooove Reve De Miel lip balm! I use it every night to seal in moisture

I love the look of the dry oils, i really hate it when oil sits on top of your skin and makes you feel really greasy! Fantastic picks.

I absolutely love Reve de miel and Huile prodieguiuse oil. I need to use that hand and nail cream..I have the travel size version that comes in the set. I need to pick the shimmer version of oil, that sounds lovely!
ReplyDeleteAsh | www.mstantrum.com
Definitely do - it's so good if you suffer from dry hands :) xx
DeleteI've only tried one thing from this brand, a face cream but I wasn't too impressed by it. I know many recommended the lip balm as winter saviour but I have yet to try it until now. This is a great intro to anyone like me who is new to the brand.

Nuxe is one of my favourite brands ever! The quality is just amazing and it's still more affordable than other skincare brands. The Huile Prodigieuse and the shimmery Huile Prodigieuse are staples in my stash. I love the shimmery oil in the summer, it gives the most gorgeous shimmer to the skin :D Definitely a golden goddess look!
