Today I have another lovely blogger on for a guest post! I'm a huge fan of Mollie's blog so I hope you enjoy her post as much as I did. All her social media links are at the bottom so you can follow her.
Hello
everyone! I'm Mollie and I run the blog 'Mollie Manning' and I am so excited to be posting on Jasmine's blog today.
I thought as Autumn is here, I want to share the products I save for those pamper
evenings where I'm really allowed to treat myself.
Firstly I love to run a bath to relax and unwind, what would be a bath
without a Lush bath bomb? Sakura is a lovely fresh,
floral scented bath bomb with beautiful pastel colours which I love to watch melt
into the bath. It doesn't contain any glitter and the colours aren't in your
face either, so it's relaxing and peaceful. It also makes for a great
moisturiser, I always come out feeling soft and completely refreshed. I just
run a warm bath and throw this in and relax whilst it fizzes.
When I'm out of the bath, of course, I like to cleanse my face getting
rid of all the grime and dirt. My all time favourite cleanser is
from Oskia, their Renaissance Cleansing Gel* and
it's a game changer. With it's balm/gel like texture it
really hydrates my dry skin and gives my skin a beautiful glow. You know I love
this sorry that it keeps cropping up in every other post but I can't get enough
of it.
To moisturise my body, Sai Sei's Body Oil is the
one. When I came back from holiday, I was flakey and burnt and this was the
only thing that soothed my skin. As it's an oil if you spray
too much things can get a little bit greasy, so I only use a little
and then wait for it to dry before getting dressed. What I love is that it
gives the skin a healthy sheen/glow, so I sometimes like to prep my limbs with
this before I go out at night. But as we're heading into the colder months my
skin needs a little TLC and this is perfect for injecting some hydration back
into my skin.
My favourite product out of my whole routine has to be GlamGlow's Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment, this stuff is
amazing and it smells amazing too! I love how it makes my skin go tingly as
well. I apply this on my face and hop into bed, my favourite way to use it is
like an overnight sleep mask and just after one use, I already saw wonderful
results on my dry, dehydrated skin. When I woke up I was over the moon, my
skin's appearance looked a thousand times better. My face didn't look or feel
dry, it was hydrated and my skin was looking fresher than ever. What's best is
that it doesn't take an age to sink in and it doesn't make my skin feel greasy
or sticky either, it's by far my favourite overnight treatment ever.
I hope my mum's not reading because she'll kill me, yeah I wish I could
afford to spend over £100 on a moisturiser - sorry mum but no I haven't been
sneaking into your bathroom cupboard and secretly using this at night.
The Creme De La Mer is everything that luxury is and
because of that price tag you kinda would hope so. It's a really thick, heavy
cream and the only thing I can compare it to us Sudocrem - a tad difference in
price there I know. I warm it up in my hands and apply just a teeny bit over my
face, a little does go a long way and I prefer to use this as an overnight
moisture mask as it's pretty heavy for an everyday moisturiser. I switch it up
between GlamGlow and this because it's nice to keep things interesting! Creme
De La Mer is a super intense moisturiser and is a dry skin's saviour.
This would be perfect for Winter when my skin starts looking desperately dry.
It smells and feels amazing on the skin, as the consistency is so thick it does
take a while to sink in but the results are worth it.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to Jasmine for letting me
take over your blog for a day! I hope you enjoyed it as much as me. So that's
my cosy pamper night in, just a few good products that really make me and my
skin feel a whole lot better.
