What's in Her Makeup Bag? | Jasmine Blogs All Beautyy Guest Post

As I've mentioned, by the time this post goes up I will be finishing the first week of my new job (eeeek!) So, for the first time I have a couple of guest posts on my blog. The first is from Jasmine (there are rather a lot of us in the beauty blogging world!) from Blogs All Beautyy. She's going to give us a little peak into her current makeup bag, so I hope you enjoy. All her social media links are at the bottom of the post so you can follow her! Big thanks for doing this post, Jasmine :)

I change up my makeup bag pretty regularly. If I've not been loving a product, I'll take it out my makeup bag and replace it with something I might have been preferring to use. I could easily keep all my lipsticks in this bag, but I have restrained myself from doing so, and now all I keep is my makeup I reach for most of the time.

Face

For my base, I don't use a lot of products. To start off, I use the No.7 Instant Illusions Primer to ensure my makeup stays put on my face and smooth out my pores. Also before my foundation, I use the Rimmel London Good To Glow Highlighter. It's a liquid based highlighter which is amazing underneath your foundation. For my foundation, I've really been loving the Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation as it gives good coverage yet is lightweight. If I need extra coverage, I reach for the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer which is a creamy formula with a nice finish. To set all my makeup in place, my current go-to powder is Rimmel Stay Matte, a powder much loved by us bloggers! Finally, I have my Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette, which I ADORE the highlighter in it. It also contains a blush and bronzer so it's good to have the an option of whether or not I use them. For brushes, I use my Real Techniques Core Collection, the buffing brush for foundation, pointed foundation brush for concealer and contour brush for highlighting.

Eyes

I don't keep an eyeshadow palette in my makeup bag mainly because I'm a bit of an eyeshadow palette hoarder and own too many to choose just one. First up, of course I have the very popular Maybelline Colour Tattoos, I love these for on the go! I currently own three - On and On Bronze, Creamy Beige and Chocolate Suede. I have two mascaras; one being the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara and the Makeup Revolution Amazing Curl Mascara. I've been loving the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara, which is wonderful for giving your brows a hint of colour and keeping them in place! I also have a No7 eyeshadow from the In The Navy trio. I use this as a highlight colour in my inner corner of my eye and sometimes as a brow bone highlight. Lastly for eyes, I have my beloved Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, I am obsessed with it and it's used most days I wear makeup.

Lips

Surprisingly, I don't keep a lot of lip products in my makeup bag. Mainly because I went crazy last Summer buying lip products and now own a fairly large collection so had to narrow it down. I keep a lip balm in there because with Autumn and Winter approaching, nobody likes chapped lips! The Ted Baker Pink Lip Balm is my current choice of lip balm. My lipstick favourite at the moment is a oldie but goodie, it's a nude pink by Body Collection. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a shade but it's my ultimate number one nude lipstick! For lipgloss, I have my Kiko Glassy Lipgloss in 01, which is just a nude gloss.

What do you keep in your makeup bag?

A massive thank you to Jasmine, my wonderful name twin, for letting my guest post on her beautiful blog!
