Haircare posts aren't something you see me do often as I can be a creature of habit! However there are three products which have made their way into my routine this past month so I thought I'd share my thoughts on them.
Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask, £31.85 for 250ml
I can't sing this product's praises enough! It really has worked miracles for my dry and damaged hair. Whilst I can't say that it looks healthy and shiny, it's in much better condition than it has been in a while, which I wholly attribute to this miracle mask. My only negative is that a pot of this doesn't last that long, however you can buy a smaller size for under a tenner and the price per ml is exactly the same so I think I'll be kinder to my wallet and re-purchase that.
Nanokeratin Befri Brush*, £19.99
It's been so long since I've picked up a new brush so I was delighted to receive this one by Nanokeratin. I had been struggling with my Denman brush (you know the one, everyone seems to have it!) whilst blow drying my hair and didn't know any better. However since using this brush I'm pleased to say all the annoying and awkward issues I've had with blow drying have gone away and it's so much easier. The design of this is unusual and I really wasn't sold until I used it. However it allows such amazing flexibility and allows me to blow dry every part of my hair right from the root, meaning I only really use straighteners to touch it up between washes. I also like the fact there are none of those little caps on the end of the bristles which snag your hair and the large, spaced-out bristles mean it's great on wet hair too. The only negative I have is that the bristles seemed to go out of shape very quickly, which I expect over a long period of time but I wouldn't expect to happen on a pricier brush like this for a while.
Batiste Eden Dry Shampoo, £3.29
When it comes to dry shampoo I've dabbled a little bit but there's only one brand that really does it for me: Batiste. My only bugbear with their products is the white residue, however I've found that putting it in the night before resolves this and I wake up in the morning with my hair looking refreshed. The new limited edition fruity-floral Eden scent is absolutely gorgeous and is by far my favourite fragrance they've ever brought out so get it while you can.
Which hair products do you love at the moment?

What ddi we do before it?! Hahah xx

I have read a couple of reviews on this brush and by the sounds of it, it wouldn't work on my hair :( x

It's such a a shame! I hope they make it permanent xx
DeleteI love hair brushes that work, the only brush I use at the moment is a tangle teezer! I also find the Batiste dry shampoo very greasy on my hair, so I recommend the Toni & Guy one! xxx

I must try that hair mask. I bought the light version last year but it wasn't hydrating enough for my dry/damaged hair. I love Macadamia Natural Hair Oil Deep Repair Mask - works wonders on my hair! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautylymin
I will have to look that one up - thanks! xx
DeleteLove the look of that brush! Pity the bristles are going out of shape so quickly though! My hair is so tatty I'd have them bent all over the place haha! I love Batiste too but sometimes pick up the VO5 dry shampoo as there is no white cast and it smells lovely!

Ooh I'll have a look for that one next time - thanks! xx
DeleteI love the smell of Batiste dry shampoo soo much! and I'm quite curious about that hair brush, I've been using my tangle teezer for way too long aha :)

The brush sounds really cool! I don't really use a brush when blow drying, but I'd like to give that one a go!

I live for that Moroccan Oil mask. I have color treated hair that I blow dry and straighten at least once a week, and it keeps my hair ridiculously soft and healthy.

I have the Moroccanoil Mask but in Hydration, don't get me wrong it's amazing, but I need this Restorative mask in my life!

Definitely check it out for something really intense xx
DeleteI really need a try a hair mask, I have dry and damaged hair and I always feel like my hair needs some extra hydration x

The hair mask sounds beautiful and I don't mind paying more if it really works. I am a huge fan of the Batiste dry shampoo a lot but like you the white it leaves behind is a bummer, although I will try doing it over night next time :)

I've seen this hair brush around and it looks really intriguing! It's a shame that the bristles are losing their shape, I wonder how well it will last in the long run! The hair mask sounds really lovely, I'm going to have to check that out! x

Yeah I'll see how it goes, though I'm really enjoying it right now :) xx
DeleteI am so terrible at taking care of my hair (and lazy) but the mask sounds like a do-it-all product and I think it is worth investing in.... Thanks for sharing...xx
ReplyDeleteI can't rave about it enough! xx
DeleteI have been using a lot of masks and dry shampoo on my hair. The two you mentioned sound amazing, maybe I should try them next :)x
