Mememe Cosmetics is one of those brands that seems to fly under the radar, however I've tried a few bits from them in the past so I was delighted to see they've released some new products. I had the chance to try out two new launches: the Enchanted Eyes in Dusky Plum* (£6.95) and the Lip Glide in Deep Scarlet* (£6.95).
The Enchanted Eyes is a double-ended shimmer cream eyeshadow pencil with a lilac colour on one end and a deeper plum on the other. Therefore you can apply the lilac across the lid and blend it out then blend the darker shade into the outer part of your lid and underneath the eye. I find that although you can do a smokey eye with this, it can definitely work during the day. The formula is really creamy, which means it's really easy to blend them in or sheer them out across the lid. The downside to this is that it's not the longest lasting product on my oily eyelids.
The Lip Glide is a semi-matte crayon lip colour in a dark red colour. I tend to find these sorts of reds suit me much better than a really bright tone and the formula is nice and creamy. It reminds me a little of the Nars lip pencils, and the finish has a very slight sheen to it. The texture is amazing as it applies so easily and gives a matte finish without being drying at all. I get minimal transfer with this and it's so easy to apply and re-touch. As a almost-matte product I find it lasts a long time on my lips without the dreaded lip-liner fade. I really hope they release even more shades in this as I think the formula is so nice I probably won't be lusting after the Nars any more!

If you, like me, love an easy-to-apply crayon formula then these new releases are well worth a look and I love how the packaging makes these products look a lot more expensive than they really are.
The Lip Glides are out now and the Enchanted Eyes will be released next month.
Have you tried anything from Mememe Cosmetics?
I'm not the biggest fan of eyeshadow pencils but I love lip crayons! You got a lovely red shade, I've never tried anything from this brand but I'm really tempted :) x

It's really lovely :) xx
DeleteI never seem to have much luck with eyeshadow pencils, I always apply them and then they never want to blend, or I have to really work at it which isn't good for your eye! Would love to try these, see if I can change my mind about shadow sticks.

These shades are super-creamy so you shouldn't have any problems with that! xx
DeleteThe shades of the Enchanted Eyes pencil are just gorgeous, right up my street. Shame they aren't super long-lasting but maybe they would work better with a primer underneath x
ReplyDeleteBeauty with charm
Yeah I think so :) xx
Deletefirst things first, your photography here is gorgeous! Secondly that eye crayon is stunning! Definitely going to have to pick that up for myself! The shades are totally "me" colours and by the sound of it they would be perfect with a primer underneath!

DeleteI've never tried anything from this brand before, but those two products seem lovely! Are they available in Boots or Superdrug? I will be going on trip to London in a couple of weeks, so I will probably go a bit crazy in the British drugstores haha!

The colours are so lovely :) xx
DeleteBeautiful colours. The duo eyeshadow stick seems gorgeous! I used to see mememe in Superdrug all the time but I don't think they sell their products there anymore and because I don't see it in shops any longer, I end up forgetting about the brand. xx

I don't believe they do - I think it's online-only in the UK anyway xx
DeleteI have never bought anything from MeMeMe cosmetics - as you say, they do fly under the radar. Do they even have any stands anywhere where you can physically look at their products? I like the idea of the double ended cream eyeshadow pencil - super handy to have in your handbag :) x
