Last Minute Holiday Fashion Haul from ASOS

I say 'last-minute' but I've actually moved my holiday to mid-July now! It was extra money but the weather in Dubrovnik will be much better then and I'm really excited for it! I did a little ASOS order when I still thought I was going this weekend so I thought I would show you what I got as part of this week's Summer Holiday themed daily blogging.

As I've mentioned before, I have ASOS Premier, which I thoroughly recommend! You just pay £9.99 and for a year you get unlimited next day delivery no matter the size of your order and you can also have a courier come and pick up your returns if you want. It's pretty amazing to have considering the amount of brands ASOS stock and it has helped me more than once in 'I have nothing to wear tomorrow night!' situations. I was really gutted that when my parcel arrived, two of the items had marks on them, as I was worried that if I returned them the replacements wouldn't arrive in time for me going away. However I sent them an email and less than an hour later they responded, apologising for the inconvenience. They arranged for replacements to be with me the next working day and I didn't have to worry about sending the dirty items back. Although it was annoying it happened to begin with this was handled really well; they weren't the slightest bit difficult about it.

Anyway onto the bits I picked up. It's no secret that I'm a big fan of ASOS's own brand as I think there are so many size variations you usually struggle to get at this price-point on the high street. I rarely buy bikinis from the high street (especially if you can't mix and match the sizes in the top and bottoms!) as I find they are really ill-fitting. I'm a very awkward back and cup combination at 30E, which usually means if I want something to fit properly and give decent support I have to fork out some serious cash. However on ASOS I picked up the Fuller Bust Mix & Match Contrast Plunge Bikini Top for £19.99 - result! It's really supportive and a flattering shape so I'm very pleased. I then got myself the Mix & Match Contract Brazillian Pant (£8) which isn't my favourite style as I prefer tie-sides however it was a thong style in this colour if you wanted that and I'm not quite that brave!

I then got the Straw Floppy Hat with Coin Trim (£18) as I think it's perfect for keeping me shaded from the sun. The brim isn't too wide so it's really wearable and I love the trim. Also, if you struggle to find hats that fit - rejoice - this comes in small, medium and large. Finally I picked myself up the Fudgy Strappy Low Heel Sandals (£32). I tend to wear my comfy sandals constantly on holiday until they're pretty much knackered so every year I get myself a new pair. These are so comfy and well-made with a good bit of arch support and I love the snake skin print.

What are your essential fashion pieces for on holiday?

  6. I have those bikinis on my wishlist, but in an orange shade. Now this gives me opportunity to ask you, if you buy bras at H&M, do you think the sizes fit the same? I usually wear H&M bras, but I also have DD cup, so I know the struggle of support. I guess I just didn't wanted to order, because I wasn't sure if it would fit me. I would appreciate any comparison. And great buys!:))

  7. I love the sandals! I can't live without my black Topshop bikini. It's high waisted with a strapless top and it's just the best bikini! I do have weird tan lines, but I don't mind haha.

I am sure your holiday will be even better mid-July as it will be so much sunnier.
