It feels like foreverrr since my last outfit post! I blame the weather...Anyway I'm back with an outfit that's pretty much ideal for that awkward bit when it's not quite winter but it's still kind of cold and you really just wish it was Spring already...
I must warn you, a lot of my outfit is past season however when I received the Naomi Dolcis Knee High Equestrian Boots* (£28) from Online Avenue, I knew exactly how I wanted to style them... My favourite coat to wear during Spring and Autumn is this oversized boyfriend coat from Urban Outfitters (past season, similar style here). It's light enough not to leave me overheating if the sun comes out but also large enough to slip a jumper on underneath for frostier days. I've gone for quite simple gold jewellery from Miss Seldridge and Urban Outfitters. I know a lot of what I'm wearing is from Urban Outfitters and the coat is one of my favourite purchases ever, however I used to work there and got 40% off everything so I do appreciate that for the rest of the world their stuff isn't the most affordable!
I'm generally a dress kind of girl anyway, but Spring is a great excuse so I love wearing a floral tea dress like this one from Urban Outfitters (similar here). There's just something about the fitted top and flared skater skirt I think is really flattering to just about everyone! Finally I got this mock croc effect bag from Accessorize in another of their amazing sales and it's barely left my arm since. This is the outfit I wore the the Manchester Bloggers Meet-Up, which I will be posting on shortly, and I like it because the dress makes it feel as though you've made an effort but the jacket and boots keep things casual.
What are your style must-haves for the awkward bit in-between Winter and Spring?
