My Top 5 New Beauty Launches

It feels like there have been soooo many new beauty launches recently and I've been playing around with a fair few of them! If you didn't know, this week I'm blogging daily and it's Sharing the Love Week; I'll be telling you all about my favourite products. I've not mentioned these in my monthly favourites as I'd just end up repeating myself, however rest assured these are amazing products.

5. Collection Eyes Uncovered Palettes

Collection is a brand that's caught my attention a lot more recently. I never actually picked up the super-popular Little Mix palette however these three new editions will be part of their permanent line. They're very reminiscent of the Urban Decay Naked lines. Whilst Urban Decay's quality is in another league, these are an excellent effort. For day or night there's a neutral look you'll love in one of the three. There's a brown-toned set, one with more bronze shades and one that's grey and smokey. I'll be posting on these very soon.

4. Barry M Quick Dry Nail Colours

It's no secret that my nails often don't get done because I'm just too impatient. However these have been a game-changer! Especially paired with the Elegant Touch fast-drying spray I can literally put these on and within minutes I'm good to go with no splodging. Not to mention there are some gorgeous shades to get you ready for Spring/Summer. I picked up the In a Heartbeat (a bright, almost neon-pastel pink) and Pit Stop (a pastel grey).

A Lorac Pro Palette dupe was something we in the UK have been dying to see for a long time and last month Makeup Revolution gave us both. I'm really struggling to choose which one I prefer but the quality is even more amazing than their usual and they come with eyeshadow brushes you can actually use! Iconic Pro 1 is a little more warm-toned whereas Iconic Pro 2 has some cooler shades.

You can see my post with swatches here

Another impressive entry from Barry M; their Anastasia Contour Kit dupe. Whilst this only contains three shades they're more than adequate for me. The highlight is different to anything else I own as it's not really shimmery it just has a bit of a sheen. It's a banana powder so suitable for setting your under-eye concealer. You then have a red-toned shade and a more grey colour. I think these can be worn by a variety of different skin tones even though there's only one version of it. The shades are so smooth and blend-able, I really can't recommend this kit enough.

1. Zoeva Rose Golden Volume 2 Brush Set

I'd barely got my hands on the originals when I got wind of these beauties. They've released both an eye and a mixed eye and face version. Whilst their eye brushes blew me away in the original set (seriously, they're comparable to MAC), I still went for the mixed set as I really wanted a square contour brush. As my boyfriend couldn't track down the Real Techniques Bold Metals one in New York I thought this was a better alternative given than if I'd got it in the UK that single brush would've cost half as much as this entire set.

You can see my post on this with lots of pretty pictures here

So, there you have my favourites of the latest beauty releases I've been trying recently.

What is your favourite new beauty launch?

  20. I really want to try the Barry M Contour Kit it looks great! Don't know why everyone has rushed out to buy the Anastasia Contour Kits, surely nobody needs 6 different shades for their one face?! Haha I respect it's a collector's kinda thing but it's definitely more sensible to get something like this :)
