The blogging world seems to have collectively fallen in love with rose gold. Yes, it is basically a re-branding of copper, but it's beautiful in my opinion so I though I'd show you a few of my favourite rose gold things...
Firstly are the brushes I think started it all: the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set (£55, review post here). I love this set so much as not only is it gorgeous on my dressing table but the brushes are such amazing quality! You get 8 face and eye brushes in the set and they're some of the best I own. I also picked up the Zoeva Rose Golden Volume 2 Luxury Set and Brush Holder (£59 review post here). I love the clear acrylic holder with an embossed-style rose gold pattern and although I think the original set has more of the essential brushes for beginners, I find myself reaching more for Volume 2 these days, perhaps as it has more eye brushes and Zoeva do incredible ones.
Sticking to the beauty theme I have a few makeup picks. Firstly there's Revlon's Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in Peach Lights (£11.99). I picked up a few shades in this line so I'll be posting a review with swatches soon. But I can tell you, if you're looking to extend your love for rose gold to your face then this liquid highlighter is what you need! Of course this post wouldn't be complete without mentioning Charlotte Tilbury. Her packaging coordinates beautifully with the original Zoeva set. I have the Dolce Vita Luxury Palette (£38), which I fall in love with all over again every time I use! I don't own anything else with shades like this; there's a bright champagne shimmer, a deep red, a glittery gold and a grey shade that combine to make a beautiful evening eye look. I also have her Matte Revolution Lipsticks in Bond Girl and Walk of Shame (£23 each). They have the most unusual but amazing matte formula; the finish is almost like a stain and they feel so comfortable on the lips. Bond Girl is a mauve/dusky pink shade whereas Walk of Shame is a red-toned berry colour.
A couple of random bits to finish up! I have this gorgeous Homebase Copperfield Desk Lamp (£24.99). I'm still not over how cheap it is and I love how it looks next to my Zoeva brushes. Finally I have this River Island Rose Gold Tone Bracelet Watch (£28). I've never been one for flash, expensive wrist-wear so River Island is usually my go-to for stylish watches that look like they cost a lot more! I love how subtle the rosy tone is.
