Pampering on a Budget

I love a good weekend pamper session, so I thought I'd do a post showing how you can have some me-time without spending loads on products! Because if it's gonna be every week it can't always be Lush everything...

For cute and affordable candles, Bomb Cosmetics is my favourite place to shop. I really must place another order as I'm running out of all my favourite fragrances in the tinned candle range (£7.99 each). The fragrance Scones & Cream is lovely for this time of year.

If you're after yummy-smelling shower gels I absolutely love the Dolly's Mixtures Shower Gels that you can buy for just £2 from Asda. My favourite is Red Velvet Cupcake; it's just heavenly and anything Red Velvet is a winner in my eyes. They lather up so beautifully and the scents aren't excessively sweet and artificial.

For a body butter afterwards, I really like the Beauticology ones I got in the Gingerbread House Gift Set (£10.81) for Christmas. The entire brand is like an affordable version of Philosophy and I just can't stop sniffing myself whenever I use the Creamy Marshmallow Frosting Body Butter.

In terms of nail colours, Barry M is one of my favourite brands full stop and the fact their bottles cost just £3.99 each is a bonus! The Gelly Formula is my favourite and the shades I love most are Mustard, Lychee and Almond.

Finally, the best face masks you can get on a budget are Montagne Jeunesse which cost between £1 and £1.49. The single-use sachets come in such a range of flavours you can have fun and experiment to find something that works for your skin type or just to find something yummy! I was recently sent some for combination/oily skin to try: Tea Tree Face Spa*, Spa Argile Rose* and Hot Spring Sauna*. So far I've been loving the Tea Tree; my skin responds so well to Tea Tree Oil and I'd recommend it to anyone prone to blemishes. It's great for using after a night out if you're like me and every alcoholic drink and burger you ever consume shows as a spot on your face the next day! Try using this the morning after; it's so invigorating and will stop you from having a hangover breakout.

Which affordable pampering products do you recommend?

My budget pamper is having a hot shower/bath and pretty much covering myself head to toe in coconut oil for the night lol! (except my face because it's too clogging)
