HAUL || Payday Treats

When payday comes around I really want to treat myself. I always try to save at least twice as much as I spend but I definitely need a little boost and a bit of motivation! Plus I've had some excellent news I will fill you in with in my next catch-up post...


I'm always here for a Body Shop discount code and this one coincided with getting paid! I picked up the Sumptuous Camomile Cleansing Butter (£12) as I love the oil version so much. After hearing great reviews I got the Hemp Hand Protector (£5). I also picked up my first ever Body Shop haircare products: the Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, Banana Shampoo and Banana Conditioner (£4.50 each). I'll update you on the lot once I've had a proper go!

My mum bought me a couple of little gifts as well a gorgeous purse and watch, both from River Island. I love the subtle shade of the Rose Gold Tone Bracelet Watch (£28) as I prefer things to be more on the side of gold than too pink. The Cream Quilted Tab Top Purse (£13) is so practical with all of its compartments yet so stylish and chic too.

Of course I'm sure you've noticed I got my hands on the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set (£55)! I won't give too much away as my review is coming super-soon but how stunning are they?!

And finally, a closer look at my clothing buys. I've been such a huge fan of Miss Selfridge these past few months and so I picked up these cute casual pieces. I got the Camel Tuck Stitch Jumper (£28) and a pair of checked/tartan leggings I can't find online (I only got them a week or two ago, so keep an eye out in stores if you like the look). I didn't actually realise they were £25 - oops at me! I do think they're really cute though.

From New Look (another current high street favourite of mine) I picked up some pieces that are work or day appropriate. I didn't realise the Cream Quilted Ribbed Sweater (£14.99) came in Tall! It does ride up a bit on me so if I re-purchased in another colour I'll get the Tall. I also picked up the Dark Grey Knitted Belted Pencil Skirt (£17.99), the Light Grey Jacquard Check Jumper (£19.99) and some tile print trousers that I can't find online (I think they were £22). I love the trousers as they're high-waisted and are somehow long enough for me! I gravitate towards black skinny jeans so wanted to find something more wearable but a bit different too; these fit the bill perfectly.
