The Body Shop's 40% off events are a thing of wonder! I was genuinely sent into a bit of a frenzy! I grabbed some stuff for me as well as some gifts (not shown, in case the recipient is reading...) and they arrived surprisingly fast (and free!) for the Christmas period. (All prices below are full-price)
I was in so much of a frenzy that I accidentally ordered a mini of the Glazed Apple Shower Gel (£2)! Slightly annoying but I guess I can use this for when I'm travelling. I also got the Frosted Cranberry Soap (£2.50) from the Christmas range. They're both lovely festive fragrances I'll be sad to see the back of in the new year. I have another haul post here with the rest of my festive buys from the Body Shop.
I also tried the Honeymania Shower Gel (£4) and Body Scrub (£13), as I hadn't been aware of this range. I'm not quite sure on this one as the fragrance was quite strong and different to what I was expecting. I guess I thought it might be a little bit like the Wild Argan Oil scent but it really isn't. I'm keeping an open mind with it.
I got myself a Muslin Cloth (£2.50) as I hate how rough towel-material flannels can feel on the face. I'm very excited to try the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (£10) as I've heard so many positive things about it and this is actually my first Body Shop skincare purchase. I'll let you know how the two of us get on.
The All-In-One Instablur Universal (£14) is something I'd been eyeing up for a while but I couldn't really justify it as I don't need another primer. However if you can get it on sale I'd definitely recommend it! I does a really good job of smoothing my face, especially my pores. The only thing I don't like is the texture, which I find quite hard to work with.
As if they hadn't spoiled us enough, I also got a free gift - their best-selling Vitamin E Moisture Cream (£11)! This has amazing reviews so I'm very excited to try it.
Did you pick up anything in the 40% off event?
You've picked some lovely things! I really want to pick up a few of their winter products, especially the Frosted Cranberry ones xx
ReplyDeleteThank you :) definitely get some in the sales! xx
DeleteIn the second 40% off event I managed to be good and just buy gifts as I had already purchased stuff for myself! The offer is still on and the temptation is still strong though haha! I can't wait to find out how you get on with Instablur as that was one of the things I was also eying up x
ReplyDeleteBeauty with charm
Haha! And yeah I'm interested to see how it works compared to my other primers! xx
