Gift Idea! || The Body Shop Christmas Range

You really are cutting it fine if you still haven't done your Christmas shopping! But if you're a last-minute kind of person or would like some ideas on what to pick up for yourself in the sales then keep reading...

I think the Vanilla Brûlée fragrance is the least different and inventive but it's still a lovely, rich fragrance. If you've ever had a hot vanilla sauce over a chocolate pudding - it's pretty much that! I have the shower gel and the oil for my burner. The shower gel is lovely and foaming and the fragrance isn't overbearing. As for the oil, it will leave your home smelling lovely and festive, which is great if you're having people over for Christmas.

I have the Body Butter and Soap in the Frosted Cranberry scent. The soap is a really nice thing to have in the bathroom if you have guests over the festive period as it just leaves a nice sweet, Christmassy scent on your hands. The Body Butter also isn't too overpowering; it's very hydrating and again just leaves a light, festive fragrance on the skin.

As you can probably tell, my favourite fragrance from the range is Glazed Apple. I accidentally ordered a mini of the shower gel, which was annoying but actually worked out quite well as I took it away for the weekend. It has a really unusual sour candy smell - I've never had anything quite like it so I'll be sad when this leaves stores. It's definitely the strongest of the three, I also find the Body Butter more heavily fragranced (though in terms of soothing dry skin, they both work as well as each other). The Body Polish is also well worth a look at - it's somewhere between a body scrub and a shower gel. It buffs away dry skin gently and I love putting on the body butter afterwards. It isn't the most heavy-duty product for dry skin but it works for me! Finally we have the Bath Jelly! I must admit I purchased this for the novelty. It pretty much functions as your usual bubble bath but is a lot more fun to use. Obviously due to the nature of the product, after using it you won't smell quite so strong if that's something that bothers you.

Will you be picking up any of the Body Shop's range for yourself or as gifts?
