Even More Makeup Revolution #liphug Shades!

After over 1000 of you read my original review I thought I'd do a follow-up with my extra shades. I've swatched all 9 shades I have and I'll tell you a little about the new additions! You can buy all of the shades here.

My handbag has barely been without a lip hug this past fortnight; they're just the perfect sheer lip colours you can put on and go - you don't even need a lip liner. I think the quality is much better than the £1 range plus the packaging looks more expensive and you get the nice vanilla lipstick fragrance, so if you were wondering why they're more expensive; rest assured the £1.50 extra is well-spent. I don't think anyone who caught me applying one of these in the toilets would think they were £2.50!

The Nudes

These two are quite similar but you can't have enough everyday brown nudes!

You can read my full thoughts on Save Me From Yourself here. I'd say I Think You're Amazing has a slightly pinker tone to it (which is quite interesting) whereas Save Me From yourself is a little more terracotta. They perform similarly so it's really up to you to choose which you prefer (or buy both, like me!) I love wearing these shades to work or when I'm in a rush and don't have time to think about what matches - because they go with anything!

The Brights

These are probably the least 'me' but it's really nice that shades like this are included in the line - there really is something for everyone.

Want To Leave? was kindly sent to me by Makeup Revolution after there was a bit of a mix-up with my order. I wouldn't have chosen it myself but it's actually surprisingly wearable for a bright pink. I wasn't really keen on I Wasn't Mixed Up - I think I was imagining it to be like the Benefit Lolibalm but it's actually really pigmented. Not something I can rock but if you're a little more adventurous then go for it! It took me a little longer with these two to get a nice even coat - which I don't even have to think about with the others.

The Red Berries

These aren't really something I've tried before but they're a more wearable alternative to a really dark berry lip. I regularly wear these during the day.

We Have Come Too Far is the lightest of the berry tones and I'd say the most 'red'. If you aren't into more purple-wine colours this is the one for you! To Get Lucky is similar but has that purple undertone (this is the other one I didn't pick myself). Personally I really like both.

The Darker Berries

I have actually worn all of these during the daytime too but I think these lean more towards an evening look.

Keeps the Planet Spinning is definitely one of my most worn shades out of the line (as you can probably see!) It's a pink-toned berry that can take you from day to night and you can read my full review on it here. Saviour Will Come is very similar to To Get Lucky but it's a bit more of a stain - you probably don't need both unless you love your beauty like me! I like them both but for similar reasons. Still Missing My Baby is the darkest and vampiest shade, which I reviewed in full here. It's the least wearable and I do tend to get it transferred everywhere because it's both dark and glossy but I can deal with all those things because the colour is so beautiful!

I love the Lip Hugs and they're the first Makeup Revolution lip products where the shade selection is just so 'me'! I'm sure you're sick of hearing about them so I thought I'd do one big post, swatch the lot and let you decide which shades you like. I'm just not over how amazing these are and all at £2.50! It really shows what you can get for so little money - it makes me question why a lot of the more established brands are more expensive when I don't think the quality is any better...

Which colours are your favourites?
