Best Of...Sleek Makeup

A week or two ago I did my top 5 favourites from Makeup Revolution (check the post out here) and now it's Sleek's turn! I also own a lot from Sleek so it's been really hard to whittle it down and give a good mix of different types of product. But I managed it! Keep reading for my top 5...

5. i-Divine Palette in Au Naturel, £7.99

I know everyone is obsessed with the Sleek eyeshadow palettes, but I don't own that many! My favourite is, you guessed it, the neutral one...It's just a really lovely everyday palette that would fit in anyone's collection.

This was a favourite of mine in spring and early summer. As you can see it's been very well-loved and has pretty much fallen apart. I'll be purchasing a new one when spring comes around again as it's the perfect pink-nude for me.

3. Blush in Suede, £4.49

Potentially a controversial choice, as Rose Gold is so well-loved. However this is the daytime-appropriate one I reach for, the muted peach shade I know will go with just about any makeup look. The only thing I'd say is that if you want an easy, quick application you need a good brush!

2. Face Form in Medium, £9.99

This product is so infuriatingly close to perfection for me. The highlight is just amazing - not too shimmer, not too frosty - the perfect golden shade for my skin tone. The contour is subtle, blend able and build-able. However, whilst it's amazing they do so many shades for different skin tones, I'm bummed that the Medium one gets a bronzer (which has gone virtually untouched) whilst the lighter shades get the Rose Gold blusher. It's still an amazing product but it would be 'my entire face in a palette' if 'Medium' had had the blusher. #bitter...

1. Brow Kit in Dark, £7.99

This product is holy grail status for me. I've used it daily since February and I've barely hit pan (though it's definitely seen better days...) It's an amazing affordable alternative to the Benefit BrowZings kit. I just shape with the wax and thicken with the powder.

Review and swatches here

I have to give an honourable mention to the Blush By 3 Palettes (post and swatches here) and the single blush in Rose Gold (post and swatches here). I'm also really loving the Arabian Nights i-Divine Palette and the Matte Me Lip Colour in Birthday Suit at the moment, so keep your eyes peeled for my review of those two!

I think Sleek's strength lies in their colour, i.e. eyeshadows, blushers and lip products. So I would definitely get your hands on some of those if you're not sure what to buy first or next!

  2. I love their lipsticks. They are so pigmented and creamy. Don't have their eyeshadows or blushes yet but been eyeing Suede for ages. Such a pretty, subtle blush shade. xx

    1. You really must! I think their blushers are amazing, the only downside is that they don't release new lines often enough. The Face Form is my #1 highlight/contour product :) xx

    1. I have a lot from what they've release, I just wish they were quicker bringing out new stuff. Unfortunately the highlighter palette looked really glittery/too shimmery for me :( xx

  11. Great post Jasmine. I'm such a fan of Sleek, they really kick started the whole affordable but unbelieveable quality thing. I haven't tried a couple of things on your list though, like the Eyebrow Kit, so I'm going to hunt it down! xx
