Drugstore Lip Product Haul!

I've been eyeing up some of these bits for quite a while so I took the plunge this week. Just my luck that the day after, Superdrug's 3 for 2 mix and match made a return (as well as bonus points on cosmetics)! But if you fancy grabbing any of these make sure you use the offer!

Collection

I love Collection as they're such fantastic value. After having a sniff of their Cream Puff Lip Creams (£2.99 each) I decided to get Cotton Candy and Angel Delight. Cotton Candy is a blue-toned pink (which is totally different for me) and Angel Delight is a brown-toned nude. I  also got one of their Deluxe Lipsticks (£3.99) in Charleston, which is definitely lighter and more sheer than I thought! It does have a little touch of shimmer but that's hardly visible once applied.

Maybelline

I had wanted to pick up a Colour Elixir too in Caramel Infused but unfortunately they'd all been opened. So I picked up a Coloursensation Lipstick (£6.99) in Velvet Beige, a lovely dusky pink. I chose this because Hannah from A Day in the Life of a Northern Girl was wearing it at the Bloggers Tea Party Event and I couldn't believe it was such a cheap shade. Again there's a tiny bit of shimmer but you can barely see it.

Sleek

I've heard little-to-nothing about Sleek's Matte Me (£4.99) range but so far I'm really impressed with the dusky pink shade I got, Birthday Suit. Another bit of a copy-cat purchase was the True Colour Lipstick (£4.99) in Dare, as Ellie from Life of Ellie Grace was wearing this at the Little Black Dress event and I thought it was a gorgeous shade. It's a red-toned berry matte, not a million miles away from their Vamp shade.

Let me know what you think of what I chose and I'd love to hear from anyone who's tried any of these shades before!

    1. They're so cheap so it's definitely worth spending that to try something different (instead of £15 on a MAC one that's a bit of a risk!) x
