Yet Another e.l.f. Haul!

I've gone from having been bought one thing from e.l.f. about two years ago to a full-on addict! They were running an offer so if you spent £20 then you'd get a free mystery bag worth £15 (this offer is no longer on but you can bag yourself 50% off if you spend £20!). As I'd been after a few bits but just not really enough to place an order, I decided now was the time...

So I'll start with the things I ordered myself (I'll go through the top 2 first and then left to right on the bottom row):

I got this because I've never had a brush shampoo before but it is really important to keep your brushes clean, especially if you want your makeup to last as long as possible!

Since falling in love with my Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer I've got really into liquid blushers and this seems to be e.l.f.'s equivalent. I wanted to see how this measured up and I think these come in brighter colours than MUR's. Superstar is a bright pink-peach shade.

This one was a bit of a filler to get the free Mystery Bag, I must admit! But lip brushes are always handy so I'll let you know how I get on with it.

I thought this would be handy for powder brushes, as it's a bit annoying to always wash and dry a stippling brush to use for powders.

I was kind of finding the normal-size stipple brush a bit large for blusher and now I've seen the smaller version in the flesh, it looks like this may be the solution!

This is a product I've had before (review here) and I really like it for a gold smokey look.

Now onto the Mystery Bag... (I'll go clockwise from the left)

You do get to choose from 3 different 'looks' which have a little description. I went for 'Sheer Elegance' and I was pretty impressed with what I got; I thought maybe they'd palm off some of their less popular stuff on us, but it really does look great! There's only one thing i'm not that sure I'll use, but even then it's not a total write-off.

I like the look of this one; it's a simple, universal pink colour and if I like this there are loads more colours to choose from.

I looove this colour! It's not something I'd ever have picked up myself but I'm really glad to have it now.

This isn't one I'd come across on the site before, but it's a nice cream powder and they always come in handy!

This is the one I'm not too sure about. It's not something I'd have chosen myself and there are no reviews of it.

I'm really happy this one was included in the bag! It's one of their pricier and most popular products, and Tease is a muted pink-peach; which is really me.

So that's my latest lot from e.l.f. and I'll let you know how I get on with it. If you've tried any of these, please comment and let me know what you thought :)

  1. I have tried ELF before and I had mixed views about their products, I think it is hit and miss but the products you bought look great I'd love to see a future review on the brushes! :)

    1. Yeah I always read around before deciding what to order. I think their Studio range is definitely more consistent! I'll be reviewing the brushes soon and quite a few of their other brushes are reviewed here: http://magpiejasmine.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/quick-makeup-tool-reviews.html :)
