It's time for the annual tradition of a sharing a breakdown of what I got for Christmas this year! As always; I'll link as many of the products below, so you can check them out if you like the look of them, but that's not always possible. I won't talk through everything, either, as I got a lot of food and drink gifts that's aren't going to be that relevant to you guys and a few more practical bits! This is also going to be more of a 'show' than a 'tell', so be sure to let me know if there are any products I've shared that you'd like to see reviews of! But, for now, this is a quick look at the lovely gifts I received this year for Christmas...

- BEAUTY -

This actually wasn't as big of a category as it often is! I guess I kind of have most of what I want by this point... I did still get a product I've wanted to try for ages; the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Stick Foundation (Golden Tan). It's so far, so good with this one, though I have heard some comment that the longevity isn't the best, so I still want to try it out for a few full, proper work days. I find the finish to be satin and flawless, the colour match is good and the coverage is easy to sheer out or build up with the stick form of this product (plus I love the way it glides on). I also got the Nudestix Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze in Sunkissed. This is a pretty bronzed peach cream blusher stick that adds a natural flush of colour to the cheeks.

I also got a product I've been wanting to try for a good while now; the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum. I've heard nothing but amazing things about this product across the internet! It's formulated with lactic and fruit acids to chemically exfoliate the skin overnight and reveal a smoother, more radiant complexion. It also has salicylic acid to keep the skin clear and take care of any blemish scarring. Hyaluronic acid is also in this formula, which draws water into the skin, so your skin is also left plumper and the acids don't dry things out. Overall I'm really excited to see what the long-term benefits of using this serum a few times a week will be; because the formula is ticking all the boxes for me!

- FRAGRANCE AND BODY -

My main present from my mum is something I've been lusting after for well over a year! It's the Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace Eau de Toilette. This is a gorgeous unisex fragrance that imitates the smell of logs burning and chestnuts roasting to evoke that cosy winter feeling. It's absolutely beautiful and I love a fragrance that takes you back to special times and places.

I also got three candles; the first was the Next Festive Spice Candle | which looks like it's sold out, but you might be able to find in-store. It smells gorgeous - giving off that warm, berry festive scent without being too artificial or overpowering. I also got the Nest Candle Co Midnight Luxury Soy Candle. I love this brand because - although we know soy wax is better - soy candles often lack the punch fragrance-wise that standard candles have. However these candles have amazing throw, the design is pretty, they aren't extortionate and they have some lovely scents. Midnight is formulated with beautiful myrrh, honeyed vanilla and smoke. My boyfriend also got me this lovely Woodwick Pomegranate Grenade Candle, which I've seen in so many ASMR videos because it makes this crackly fireplace sound when you burn it that I find really relaxing. The fragrance is warm and fruity.

I was also gifted a couple of Lush products by my aunt - the Yog Nog Shower Gel and Body Conditioner. Sadly this collection went into Boxing Day sale so you can't get it online now, but if you can catch it in-store, it's a beautiful fragrance with festive creamy butterscotch.

- BOOKS -

I also got three books. The first was one I hadn't heard of but sounds right up my street: Palette: the Beauty Bible for Women of Colour by Funmi Fetto. The book itself is absolutely gorgeous; both the cover design and the imagery inside. It talks through the best beauty products and also contains tips and tricks, so I can't wait to dive in. I also got Rachel Ama's Vegan Eats, which I'm looking forward to using for some weeknight cooking inspiration. I'm pescatarian but vegetarian about 90% of the time and eat vegan about 70% of the time and my boyfriend is vegetarian but eats vegan around 85% of the time, so we're always looking to be creative with our meal ideas. There are some recipes I'm really looking forward to trying in this book. Finally my boyfriend got me Lonely Planet the World: A Traveller's Guide to the Planet. I've barely even dipped my toe into what this book has to offer and I'm already feeling inspired! It's a travel guidebook featuring every country in the world and I kind of want to open it on a random page and go to that place. It's given me lots of travel inspiration and made me consider countries that weren't even on my radar before.

- JEWELLERY

I actually got two pairs of earrings. One is from a jeweller local to Shropshire, on the off chance you're in that part of the world and want to hunt them down! These are really pretty, dainty studs I think are perfect for a more formal occasion as an alternative to something dangly (which I rarely bother with) but still feels more special than my standard studs. The second pair are more of a trend piece and something I'd wear on a night out; the Seol + Gold Chunky Gold Hoops. They just click in place so they're no fuss and I really like the chunky hoops look.

My main present from my boyfriend was this beautiful Missoma Rainbow Moonstone Open Gold Ring. I don't think photos really capture the stunning iridescence of the stone, but it's beautiful. I love the style too - I'm really impressed he picked it out! The only issue is that I now I kind of want more to wear with it...

Thank you once again to everyone who bought me gifts this year! Did you get anything exciting for this Christmas just gone (if you celebrate it)?
