Over my years as a beauty blogger I've had the opportunity to try So. Much. Skincare! Sometimes I've been really disappointed with high-ticket items and other times incredibly impressed with products that cost me barely more than a morning coffee. Today I'm bringing you the luxury skincare products I tried and actually thought were worth it for me. A lot of these products are minis I got in sets, which is a great way to give something more expensive a go and see if you think it's worth investing in the full-sized product!

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm | £47 | I've been a huge fan of this product for years and - although it's pricey - it feels so incredible on my skin! It has a texture that goes from a butter to an oil to an emulsion so can be used to remove makeup or as a first or second cleanser. It contains Vitamin E and a blend of essential oils and is nourishing without leaving a film or excess on the surface of my skin. I personally love massaging this onto my skin after a long day to take off my makeup and it's incredibly gentle on my sensitive eyes. It feels beautiful and it really gives me a luxury experience.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm* | £55 (or £20 for this mini) | Once I've finished up this mini, I definitely want to treat myself to the full-sized jar because it's truly beautiful on the skin! This cleanser is formulated with Hungarian thermal water, minerals, clay and mud and feels incredible. It leaves my skin soft, smooth and hydrated - in fact I don't think my skin has ever been softer than it is after cleansing with this! It can be used for makeup removal but I just think this gives my skin such a gorgeously healthy look and feel that I don't want to wash it away, so I use it as a second or morning cleanse. I simply massage it into my skin and dab it off with a damp cloth.

Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Oil | £34 (or £61 for full size) | The thing that I love about this oil is that it barely feels like an oil! You can definitely get a marula oil that will give you similar effects for less money, however the application and almost dry-touch finish of this product is what makes it special for me. It absorbs so nicely instead of sitting on the surface of my skin or clogging my pores. There's pretty much no excess when I use this product! Marula oil contains Vitamin E and omegas 6 and 9 to give you plump, smooth, moisturised skin.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment* | £85 | Picking up a product like this is definitely a bit of a leap of faith (though you can get a mini of it in some of the Sunday Riley sets to try before dropping quite so much money) - skincare is so personal and if you're spending big then you want to know it's going to work! It's all very well paying £85 for your best skin day but what if it doesn't do anything for you? I'd considered this product for so long and finally had the chance to try it last year. It's been incredible for my skin - it's a cream-based glycolic acid product so contains AHAs that chemically exfoliate the skin. I don't get any sort of redness or sensation with this - I actually find the texture to be incredibly nourishing. The result is smooth, soft, even skin.

Niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum* | £60 (or £38 for 15ml) | This is such a incredible, transformative serum that honestly makes it feel like I have a brand new face! You actually have to to 'activate' the copper peptides when you first get this product, which creates a blue-tinted serum. It has a very watery consistency, so you don't need to worry about looking like a Smurf! It absorbs quickly with no tackiness or excess. Copper renews the skin and encourages collagen production, so this serum not only gives me smooth, healthy skin but will hopefully help combat early signs of ageing.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial* | £54 | Ths is a silky-feel serum-oil packed with antioxidant vitamins (such as A and C), omegas, Q10 and essential oils (including rose). It isn't overly heavy or greasy on my skin and I just love slapping this on before bed when things are looking a bit dry and lacklustre. It pretty much resurrects my complexion so it looks healthier, smoother and is just overall much more moisturised.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix* | £65 (as part of a set) | Ok, so this one is a bit of a cheat because I actually received a slightly smaller pot of this as part of a special value set with a bunch of other products for about £90, which was amazing! It is pretty darn pricey if you buy a big pot on its own, however this is still a really good size and I've linked one of the newer sets you can get it in. I've tried few products that legitimately give me these sorts of results, so I just had to include it because, honestly, when I use this I look in the mirror the next morning and think 'wow - my skin looks amazing'. I think it's about as good as it gets without needles... So, what does this do (after all that preamble)? It just has this incredible smoothing effect that really helps the appearance of fine lines. I'm 26 this year so I'm still a fair way off from having mature skin, but I'm also at the age when I notice those little creases start to develop after years of laughing and pulling ridiculous faces... It just really plumps the skin and makes it look smooth and young - it also means I don't struggle with my foundation settling into little creases. The ingredients include drone peptide technology (I won't even pretend to know what that is!), micro algae, essential oils and padina pavonica and it has a sort of cream-oil consistency.

Foreo Luna Mini 2* | £119 | This device has been something of a game-changer for me. It has different textures that give different effects and has a number of settings to cleanse, massage and exfoliate the skin, allowing you to control the intensity of the vibrations (and now it sounds like I'm describing something else entirely...) I tend to pair this with a cleanser I already love and it just takes that 'clean' to the next level and gives me such amazingly soft, smooth skin. It really helps to keep my complexion clear and I feel like it amplifies the effectiveness of the other products I use with and immediately after it.

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask* | £46 | This product is the double threat of exfoliation! Not only does it contain very fine microexfoliation particles but it's formulated with AHAs to chemically remove dead skin cells. The pumpkin also smells amazing. It honestly does such an amazing job of giving me clear, glowing, insanely smooth and even skin. It's my go-to when things are looking lacklustre or I have an event coming up that I want my best skin on for - it just gives amazing, instant results.

Kate Somerville Exfolikate* | £74 | This is another product I tried in a set and actually am considering getting a big tube of, because I got the chance to see if it was worth the hype and experienced amazing results. The only way I can think to describe this product is that it rips off your skin and reveals new layers you never knew existed! You leave it on for 2 minutes but that's more than enough - it's seriously intense so not something I can use very often but when I do it's incredible at making my skin so smooth and youthful-looking. It contains lactic and fruit enzymes as well as physical exfoliation, so think of it as the Peter Thomas Roth mask on steroids. It isn't for the faint-hearted!
