Christmas Gift Guide | Stocking-Fillers & Gifts Under £25

Is it really Christmas gift guide time again? Well, according to you guys: it is! I ran a little Twitter poll and this week and next week were the most popular preferred times for these, so there's going to be a luxury instalment on the 28th! However for today, I'm talking you through my top picks under £25, as well as my favourite stocking-fillers...

The Stocking Fillers

This Works Sleep Tight | £13 | I'm a huge fan of This Works - I was dubious as to how effective sleep aromatherapy products could be until I tried theirs. This bauble contains the rollerball (to be applied on the insides of your wrists), the original pillow mist and the Plus version (designed to 'slow release' the scent to provide lasting rest). If you know someone who struggles to get a good night's sleep, this is a cute little gift containing travel-friendly minis for them to try the three star products from this range.

Colour Wow Christmas Cracker* | £10 | I initially have to admit that I thought this product was a little steep for what you actually get inside and I still actually do - it's £22 for the full sized 200ml Carb Cocktail and £10 for this 50ml... However, it is sweet as a gift and the product itself is fantastic! I always feel like a haircare product has done its job when non-beauty-blogger people comment that my hair looks good and that happened at work with this. You just apply a small amount of this gel-formula product to your hair before blow-drying and it gives it such an amazing volume boost. This brand has impressed me once again.

Ouai to Go Set | £22 | I've actually never tried Ouai products before now, somehow! So I thought that buying this to feature in my gift guides would be a good excuse to finally try some of their best-sellers. In here you get a pack of 3 elastic hair ties, the Dry Shampoo Foam, Wave Spray and Hair Oil. The hair ties are handy, though I wouldn't tend to reach for them over my Invisibobbles. The Dry Shampoo Foam has had mixed reviews online, however I was interested in trying it because I have quite a sensitive scalp that traditional formulas often irritate. This is much less itchy and creates a lot less mess. It actually doesn't get 'wet' on the hair as such and it does make my hair look a little less greasy and adds some volume, though the results aren't as noticeable as with a traditional dry shampoo. The Wave Spray is definitely worth the hype for me! It has a water-light formula that doesn't leave my hair stiff or crunchy but gives amazing volume and texture. I was also impressed with their Hair Oil - it isn't overly greasy and doesn't weigh down m hair but nourishes and smooths. This is a great gift for anyone you know who travels a lot and loves their luxury haircare.

Antipodes Minis: Skin-Plumping* | £14.99 | Antipodes is a lovely natural skincare brand and they have these little mini kits that introduce you to the brand's star products and are targeted at specific concerns. This contains a lightweight hydrating serum that plumps the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving it sticky or tacky and a face cream, which gives my combination skin enough hydration without feeling heavy and also really softens and smooths it. Both of these products also smell amazing!

Caudalie Vinosource Christmas Cracker | £10 | I'm a huge fan of Caudalie skincare and this is the perfect introduction to the brand. It contains their gentle, hydrating micellar water (which is great for removing makeup), a cream serum (which is so hydrating and soothing on dry / sensitive winter skin) and their moisturising sorbet (a sort of lightweight, hydrating gel-cream moisturiser). All of Caudalie's products are made using calming, moisturising grape water, which is perfect for skin that feels the cold.

Time Bomb Hand Cream Christmas Cracker* | £10 | This cracker comes with two minis of Time Bomb's amazing hand cream. It contains all sorts of goodness like Argan oil and Vitamin E, which soften my skin and give my hands lasting moisture without any slipperiness or greasiness. It really is a lovely one, though I'd have liked if this contained two different fragrances of the product.

Beatitude Christmas Crackers in Joy & Peace* | £8 each | I think the award for the prettiest Christmas cracker packaging definitely goes to this brand! These crackers each contain a different mini bath oil. You only need a little cap full to really fill your bathroom with the scent and they leave my skin soft and moisturised after my bath. Peace is a lovely warm, relaxing lavender scent blended with petitgrain, cedar wood and ylang ylang. Joy is my personal favourite - a fruity mix including mandarin, grapefruit and bergamot.

Bramley Mini Starter Set* | £18 | I'm a huge fan of the countryside-themed products of Bramley and this set is the perfect little introduction to their products. This gift comes with the sweet and floral Geramium, Lavender & Sweet Orange Bubble Bath, the slightly fruitier-fragranced Grapefruit, Lavender & Sweet Orange Body Wash, the lightweight but moisturising Body Lotion fragranced with Juniper, Sweet Orange & Bergamot, the fresh and clean Lemon, Mandarin & Rosemary Shampoo and finally the lightly moisturising Lemon, Mandarin & Rosemary Conditioner. I'm such a fan of their fragrance combinations - they don't just go with the obvious option and it just works with every single product I've tried from them.

Korres 'Oh Little Stars' Mini Gift Set* | £10 | I really like Korres products - they're reasonably-priced and there's a really interesting selection of fragrances on offer. The shower gels are foaming and fruity-scented on the whole and the body milks are lightweight but moisturising lotions. This set contains one of each in both the Japanese Rose and Basil Lemon fragrances. Japanese Rose is a sweet, warm, deep floral scent whereas Basil Lemon is fresh and invigorating, so I think they're a really good contrasting choice for this set.

Soap & Glory Beauty-full House* | £10 | This is a really cute little set at an affordable price for fans of Soap & Glory's makeup. I'll probably give this away to you guys because I've already tried all of these products! The black kohl in here is excellent - it has a creamy, opaque and long-lasting formula. The mascara is also a nice one if you're into volume and it isn't at all clumpy. I'm not a huge lipgloss fan but this is one of the better formulas with good pigmentation and that isn't overly sticky or messy. The colour is a mid-toned berry.

Soap & Glory The Lime of Your Life* | £10 | I'm absolutely obsessed with the Sugar Crush scent from Soap & Glory! It has a sweet, lime scent that reminds me of mojitos. This contains the creamy shower gel, AMAZING body scrub, lightweight body butter and fantastic hand cream (think: moisturising without the grease) in this scent. You also get a little shower cream pod from the other two main ranges Soap & Glory do: Rich and Foamous (from Breakfast Star - a yummy oats and sugar scent) and Clean on Me (from Original Pink - with floral and bergamot notes).

Gifts for £25 or Less

HudaBeauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette* | £25 | For the longest time I put off trying the HudaBeauty eyeshadow palettes because I just couldn't talk myself into dropping that much money, though I was tempted so many times... However now there's a collection of mini, travel-friendly palettes out which are much more affordable and are such a cute gift without you having to break the bank. Now that I've tried these shadows, the Desert Dusk has made its way onto my Christmas wish list, because the quality is just incredible! I'm going to do a review on this soon but I'm sure the swatches speak for themselves and the warm reds, browns and golds are right up my street. They're all matte shades except this incredible foil-effect gold in the centre.

Zoeva Cafe Eyeshadow Palette* | £17.50 | I love Zoeva eyeshadow palettes - they deliver amazing quality and beautifully themed and packaged products without the luxury price-point. This is a stunning autumn / winter palette with warm cranberry and brown shades. There's not a single dud in this palette - the mattes are smooth and creamy and the shimmers have a gorgeously creamy finish. It's the perfect gift for eyeshadow palette collectors and it's affordable enough that it doesn't have to be their only or even their main present.

Kings of Korres Shower Gel Git Set* | £20 | This set contains three of the full-sized Korres shower gels and you make a saving because these are £8 each individually and it's great that you can try all of their best-sellers. I've had the Fig one before - it's one of my favourites! It's gorgeously fruity in a very natural way. Santorini Vine is a beautiful scent unlike anything I've ever tried before - I'm struggling to describe it but it's fresh, fruity and very slightly herbal. You also get the heavier, deeper, more wintery and warm Japanese Rose in here.

Butter London The Gold Standard Collection* | £25 | Butter London is a mid-priced nail polish brand - the packaging is so stylish and they have an insane range of shades. This collection is pretty much perfect in terms of the colour selection, as far as I'm concerned! There's a caramel-toned nude (Toffee Apple), a lighter pinky-cream nude (Shop Girl), an amazing golden glitter topcoat (24K Glitter), that perfect 'Dorothy's ruby slipper' shade (Her Majesty's Red) and finally a deep wine (Afters). The glitter shade is full-sized and the others are minis, which is really handy for travel! I was super-impressed with the opacity of these shades - I rarely feel like I can get away with a single coat, especially with lighter nudes (which can lack opacity) and deeper shades (which can be streaky). I'd say the longevity is better with the nudes, though I'd still say the darker shades last a good couple of days on me overall. This is such  a sweet little set for someone who loves nail polish and the shades are going to appeal to a lot of people.

Aequill Juniper Berry & Cedar Wood Travel Candle* | £14.50 | This is a lovely, handmade, reasonably-price candle collection. The simple packaging is still very pretty and I love this warm, spicy, fruity and slightly festive fragrance. It also has amazing throw and fills the room with fragrance very quickly.

Skin Deep by Bee Shapiro* | £19.99 | This is a really great read for beauty-lovers - it features famous women talking about their beauty routine, what beauty means to them and their favourite products. There are also some asides, with tips and themed features to break up the celebrity content. It's just a really nice, easy read that you can pick up, enjoy a few pages of and come back to later. The design and images used in the book are also beautiful.
