7 Products You Have to Try from Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury has to be one of the dreamiest brands out there! The products are just so beautiful and I feel really special when I use them. Charlotte is a makeup artist to the stars and her range really captures that glamour. During September Charlotte Tilbury is the brand of the month over on Cult Beauty (meaning you also get free shipping when you buy any of her products) and she's brought out some amazing new launches lately (including that eyeshadow palette) so what better time to share with you my absolute must-haves?!

Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk* | £16 | I recently got my hands on this much-hyped lip liner and I finally see what all the fuss is about! It's got the perfect consistency; smooth enough to glide onto the lips without being drying but waxy enough to stop your lipstick bleeding and to increase its wear-time. The colour itself is the sort of mid-toned pinky nude that works perfectly with a variety of lip products in my collection (including Super Cindy, which we'll get to later....)

Mini Miracle Eye Wand (Shade 3) | £29 | I picked this up on a whim in the Covent Garden store and since then I've repurchased it several times and it's become one of my favourite under-eye makeup products. One end has an eye cream, which is nice but not a total essential for me (there's not a great deal of product in here either so I'd rather just have the colour end on its own). However the other end is a highlighter-concealer hybrid, which I love! It comes in a variety of shades and the slightly peachy tone of this makes it a great corrector too. What I love about this is that it has really good coverage, as well as giving a luminous, brightening effect to hide my dark circles.

Hollywood Lips in Show Girl* | £24 | When Charlotte Tilbury released liquid lipsticks a few weeks ago, the blogging world collectively went crazy for them! The packaging is absolutely stunning and I love the curved applicator; it makes it really easy to apply the product neatly. This has a lip cream texture, so isn't a watery formula but does have opaque pigmentation. It mattes down but really doesn't feel drying. Though you sacrifice some of the longevity for comfort, I actually didn't find this to transfer that much. Show Girl is a gorgeous muted plum tone that of course had my name all over it!

Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze | £19 | I recently rediscovered this eye crayon and I've fallen back in love with it all over again! These are designed to perfectly compliment your eye colour and there's an option for both day and night in the range. Amber Haze is the evening version for brown eyes like mine, though of course it's only designed to help you choose a shade that suits you - you don't have to follow this to the letter! It's a stunning warm, almost cognac-toned, golden-bronze with a soft sheen. You can use this all over the eyelids but personally I love it to smoke things out on the lower lash line (or sometimes I'll take it up onto the outer corner), as it's so long-wearing and doesn't smudge or transfer at all.

Hollywood Contour Wand* (Medium / Dark) | £29 | I've never been much of an everyday contourer, however this product might just have changed that... I mean, I'm not saying I'll be doing it every single work day, but I'm actually reaching for this a lot just to sculpt my cheeks a little. It just makes contouring so easy! It comes in a tube and the product is dispensed through a little sponge applicator (which you can click on and off, so the product doesn't leak out). You simply dab it directly onto the face and it has an unusual liquid-gel formula that's nice and pigmented but (somehow) at the same time you really can't go overboard with it. I blend it out with a damp makeup sponge and it's cool-toned but not overly ashy, so creates a natural shadow on the skin. It goes on so evenly and it wears really nicely throughout the day. If you want to get on the contour bandwagon but need something quick and easy to use, then definitely check this out!

Dolce Vita Luxury Palette | £39 | I think this was probably my first ever Charlotte Tilbury product. When the brand first launched, I was immediately drawn away from the MAC stand and to this new, glamourous-looking counter. This was the product I was entranced by, though on a student budget I had to wait until the next Christmas before I got my hands on it! It's definitely a 'special occasion' product as opposed to one I use all the time, however I do like the feeling of whipping it out before a big night. These palettes are designed so it's easy to create a softer look or go all-out, and you have a highlight, a lid colour, a crease shade and something to add a bit of glitz. The colours are so rich and beautiful and warm! Three of the shades have a lovely, soft sheen and one is a pressed glitter that you pat on with your finger. The pigmentation is beautiful and these wear very well on me.

Matte Revolution LipsticksSuper Cindy & Bond Girl | £24 each | If I ever want to feel like a million dollars then I reach for a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick - just look at them! This is one entry but I just couldn't narrow down things down to a single shade. I've said it before and I'll say it again; this lipstick formula is unlike anything I've ever tried before. It isn't crazy-pigmented and opaque, but instead it has a lighter texture that's incredibly comfortable to wear. I find these easy to apply and reapply and they never dry out my lips, though they last really well (leaving behind a nice stain effect even after eating and drinking). Super Cindy is a pinky nude tone, whereas Bond Girl is this gorgeous plummy-mauve-brown.

  18. I have been looking out for that Bond girl, but might need to order it online. It costs way too much here in Finland! But it's such a beautiful pretty color! Does it stays even a slightest? Like, I can drink water with it?
