The Rose Beauty Edit

Recently I've noticed I've really been loving all rose everything! From skincare to fragrance, it's really been one of my favourite ingredients lately. I've never really been into floral scents but I've discovered some products I've fallen for.

Lush Titsy Tosty Bath Bomb | £3.50

I find the scent of this so relaxing! I also love how as it dissolves, it disperses rosebuds throughout my bathwater. As well as the super-relaxing rose oil, it contains other floral scents. It's nothing too over the top or strong, I personally just find it very calming.

Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon | £3.75

This is hands-down one of my favourite Lush scents as the floral notes balance perfectly with the sweetness of the jam fragrance. It's a pretty strong smell, which I love as it fills my entire bathroom. It leaves my bathwater pink, slightly shimmery and gives some bubbles - I know I'm 22 but that's still vitally important as far as I'm concerned! I tend to break this in half and crumble it into my bath to get the most out of it.

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel | £4.95 (100g)

Apologies that (other than during Christmas) this isn't available on its own, however it's the product that started the obsession so I had to include it! It has the exact shame gorgeous fragrance as the bubble bar and it lingers on the skin beautifully after use.

Roger and Gallet Precious Restoring Rose Body Balm* | £17

This is just the loveliest light body moisturiser! I can't really call it a body butter as it isn't thick or heavy at all, it just has this nice, fluffy texture. I love how easily it absorbs into my skin, which is ideal as the weather starts to warm up. The skin on my body is dry no matter what the season, so moisturising is a must. This is the perfect combination of hydrating but lightweight on the skin.

Chloe Eau de Parfum* | £65

This was another of those products that 'converted' me to rose scents. I really wasn't sure about a floral fragrance, as I'd always associated them with being a little bit dated and 'granny'-like. However there's something so fresh and modern about this scent. It takes the classic rose fragrance and makes it feel very chic.

Lush Rosy Cheeks Face Mask | £6.75

When my skin was recovering from being extremely dry I used this so much. Although it's cleansing and a clay mask, I find it so calming on my skin for irritation and sensitivity. It's really hydrating for dry skin and gave my skin a real glow.

Nuxe Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals | £16

I actually got this one free when I ordered a fragrance from Nuxe through Feel Unique. I wasn't sure whether to expect much, as I love Nuxe as a brand but since discovering AHAs I rarely use a manual exfoliant. However this surprised me as I actually really like it! It doesn't irritate or strip the skin at all, in fact it's very calming. Even when I'm using an acid exfoliant, I still like to use this on my nose, as it seems to get very dry and flaky in isolation. This works a treat to buff away all the dry skin and leave everything nice and smooth.

Trilogy 100% Certified Organic Rosehip Oil | £16.50

This is hands down one of my favourite skincare products, so I just had to mention it again! I love how light and non-greasy it feels on my skin and how easily it seems to absorb. I tend to apply it before bed so it can work its magic overnight. By the morning, my skin just seems to look better in every single way! It's softer, has more of a glow, healthier, more hydrated, I have fewer creases and the overall texture of my skin is considerably improved. For under £20, you just have to try this.

I'm a little bit obsessed with the rose fragrance of this - it really is beautiful and lingers around nicely after I've had a spritz. It feels refreshing and hydrating on my skin as a quick, easy boost of moisture in the morning when things are feeling a little bit tired and dehydrated.

John Masters Organics Rose & Apricot Hair Milk* | £25

I've not used a leave-in condition in a while, as I've sometimes found them too heavy and greasy for my hair. However this is so beautifully lightweight that if it wasn't for the effects, I wouldn't even know it was in there. I take a small amount and run it through my lengths and ends after shampooing, conditioning and towel-drying my hair. It leaves my dry ends so much more nourished, shiny and healthy-looking. Since I've been using this, I've also noticed that every day seems to be a good hair day too! The scent is beautiful and I love how it hangs around in my hair for a good day  after washing. It's that perfect blend of fruity and floral but nothing too heavy.

Rose & Co Rose Petal Salve* | £3.99

I've heard so much about rose salve lip balms so it's great there's now a product those of us in the UK can just pop into Superdrug and pick up. Again I really like the light rose scent and find the formula of this really nice and hydrating for everyday use. It's pink in the pot but the colour doesn't actually translate to the lips, so don't worry; you can still use this under whatever lipstick shade you like and for dry patches on your skin and nails.

  7. I've heard so many amazing things about Rosehip oil for your face and I really want to try some out soon. This is such an awesome round up! One thing I would add is LUSH's Eau Roma Water - it has rose and lavender in and is super relaxing as well as refreshing for summer.

  9. Ahhhhhh! I'm exactly the same. I don't know if it's the season that's making me crave it but all I want are rose themed beauty products, rose coloured accessories, even bought myself a rose coloured coat. l
Lush's rosy cheeks face mask smells Devine and has really helped the redness of my cheeks. Also, Chloe's perfume is to die for. Such an elegant simple scent that honestly lasts all day for me!

  10. I love the Lush Rose Jam products! To be fair though up until probably the last 12 months I hated rose scented products, they reminded me of old women but I started to love them literally like over night!
