Inside Lily's Autumn Makeup Bag | Pint Sized Beauty Guest Post

I'm super-excited to introduce one of my absolute favourite bloggers, Lily from Pint Sized Beauty for a guest post! She's giving us a peak into her current makeup bag today so I hope you enjoy it, and as always all her links are at the bottom of the post so you can go and follow her afterwards.

When it comes to the contents of my makeup bag I tend to keep switching it up on a regular basis, depending on what I have going on and what makeup I have been loving. Although I try to keep it basic and minimal, I can't help but pack some of the unnecessary items; usually in the form of 15 nude lipsticks and several concealers.

First up is concealer and the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer has been a go-to of mine for many months. With a lightweight, creamy formula and great coverage, this camouflages any blemishes or redness that might pop up during the day, without being too cakey over your existing makeup. To finish I usually pack a powder; the one I have been using a lot lately has been the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural as it helps to get rid of shine and even out my complexion.

After my base products I always try and keep at least one cheek product in my makeup bag, whether that be a bronzer, blusher or a highlighter. The Sleek Rose Gold Blush is the perfect blush for brightening and adding colour to the complexion without running the risk of going overboard.

For eyes I usually have several eyeshadow palettes on rotation, but the one that I have been reaching for a lot recently is the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. This quad helps to create a fuss -free smoky eye look that goes with any outfit or occasion. I always have to pack my L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara just in case I'm in need of a top up.

Lips are the area that I really have to restrain myself in as I would happily walk around with 4 pink, 5 nude and 2 red lipsticks in my makeup bag if I could. I've narrowed my collection down a lot lately, so I only carry around two; the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahama and the Korres Lip Butter in Mango. With the Nars offering I can make a statement nude lip that goes with every makeup look, whilst the Korres is more suitable for daily wear or when your lips are feeling parched.

What is in your makeup bag?

Thank you so much Lily for another of your fab posts! Make sure you follow Pint Sized Beauty on:

  1. I'm currently using the Miss Manga mascara and I feel so on the fence about it, I've heard the original is far better than the Black Angel one so maybe I need to try that!
