I'm a certified candle addict (seriously, I'm running out of room for them in my house...) and amongst my favourites I count everything from a £2 tin I found in Clintons to a £40 Dipyque. The latest additions to my stash come from Partylite (find your closest retailer here).
Berry Blossom* | £11.75
Firstly is a lovely late-Summer scent: Berry Blossom. I love these kinds of fruity-floral fragrances and this is sweet without being overwhelmingly so. The floral element is quite Summery but the berry notes are Autumnal, which I really like for this time of year. The scent fills the room without being overpowering and I really like it! I think this is going to last me a while as I tend to burn candles for around 3 hours at a time and I've barely made a dent after several evenings of use. The glass jar is simple and functional, which means it goes with pretty much any decor.
Just Desserts Set* | £10.15
This little trio is right up my street as I love 'food-y' candles and again these are perfect for transitioning into Autumn as they have have a sweet and fruity element but there's also something indulgent about the fragrances.
My favourite has to be Marshmallow and Peppermint (I feel like I should save this for Christmas or something!); it just smells like a yummy sweet shop. Pinapple Upside Down Cake smells just like its name but isn't too sickly or artificial. I like the sweetness and the fruitiness of this one. Finally there's Lemon Lime Macaroon, a more subtle scent that's more sweet than citric but you can still smell the lemon and lime through the 'dessert-y' notes.
The strongest scent of the three is definitely Pinapple Upside Down Cake but it still isn't too much. Again, I feel like these candles have enough throw without being sickly-sweet. These are smaller so obviously don't burn as long a Berry Blossom but I think the little detail on the jars is really cute and they look very edible on my shelf.
