OOTD || Mixing Prints with the £5 Primark Scarf

I love fashion so I'm introducing a little more of it to my blog. I've decided that instead of doing an Autumn/Winter Lookbook it would be more manageable for me to do a weekly Outfit of the Day post. This is the first in my little series and I hope you enjoy!

This is just an everyday sort of look to stay practical and warm but still look stylish.

Leather Jacket, ASOS, £100 (past season, similar here), Brown Mock Crock Structured Bowler Bag, River Island, £40 (buy here), Flat Patent Loafers, River Island, £25 (current season, not online - similar here)

Nail Polish: Barry M Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint in Cocoa, £3.99 (buy here) Rings: River Island and Accessorize (past season - similar here and here)

Navy and Red Short Sleeve Check Tunic Dress, New Look £19.99 (buy here), Folk Print Scarf Primark, £5 (current stock), Fedora Hat, Primark, £7 (current stock)

One thing I never used to do was mix black and brown and mix patterns but I really like this outfit. I'm in love with my new River Island handbag; it's stylish but still really practical and functional. I've had the New Look dress a couple of months and have been wearing it a lot, I would suggest maybe sizing up - I found it was quite short and tight across the chest in my usual size. I'm totally obsessed with the Primark scarf! It was only a fiver but it's larger and thicker than a lot of the ones I've had a look at in Topshop and River Island that were £15+ so it can be worn as a wrap too. The flats from River Island are my ultimate work-to-casual shoes as they work so well for either!

Let me know what you think of this look in the comments! :)

  2. You look so stylish, Jasmine! I love hats like this but never get the chance to wear them, they wouldn't look good during the school run or on the playground, would they, haha! The scarf is so pretty, I need to make a trip to Primark :) x

    1. Aww thank you! I had to (badly) use the iPhoto blur tool to make them look a bit less messy! I'm terrible at nails lol xx

  9. Girl you worked that Fedora! I don't have the head/face shape for hats - I'm always a little jealous of those that can pull it off so well. :-)
