I've not done one of these for while so this is more like 'Things I Loved This Fortnight', but here we go! There's a good mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle favourites this time. Also apologies that this (last) week's Sunday post has come a little late, as I was at an event (more about that later)...
My fashion love has been the Zara outfit featured in yesterday's OOTD Post! I love the 70s vibe and I think the Mustard and Aubergine shades are perfect for Autumn. It was also fab value, with the sweater costing £19.99 and the faux leather skirt £25.99.
I was not expecting to like the film version of The Fault in Our Stars. I assumed it would be cheesy and awful. Whilst it was cheesy at times, it was actually a poignant look at love, life, death and inevitability. I wouldn't mind reading the book now.
I'm a long-time lover of Louis Theroux and last weekend I managed to find a few of his documentaries I hadn't seen on Netflix. For those of you who don't know, Louis' quirky documentaries look at unique subcultures and groups from Neo Nazis to Black Nationalists and they're well worth a watch!
0-100 by Drake has been on repeat for me these past few weeks, I can't wait to hear his new album!
I finished Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (you can read my post on it here), despite it being a quick read it took me a while! I'd definitely recommend it for fans of the dystopian genre. This week I'll be starting Endgame: The Calling, a new YA Dystopian novel the lovely people at Harper Collins sent over to me, so I'll let you know what I think of it.
On Sunday I went to the Blogger's Tea Party event down in London, aside from meeting some fantastic bloggers, I really loved the setting of Drink Shop & Do in Kings Cross. Their Spiced Chai Tea and Salted Caramel Cake were both amazing! I think I have a new obsession!
Speaking of food, now it's officially Autumn, I'm back on the Bailey's. That sounded a little bit alcoholic...but you know what I mean! I love adding it to my hot chocolate before bed...
I've been a little bit obsessed with Barry M Nail Paints at the moment! In the past month or 2 I've picked up all the shades below (I reviewed some of them here). I especially love the Gelly formula and their Top Coat/Base Coat always does the job.
I looove the new Rimmel Provocalips! In the above image I'm wearing the shade Make Your Move, I've since picked up Kiss Fatal. They're so long-lasting and perfect if you, like me, hate the gloopy feel of lip glosses.
I've also done a bit of a u-turn on the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Now it's A/W and my tan is fading it's a much better match for me. Plus it blends amazingly with the Revlon foundation.
Another product that's working far better for me now is the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin. I've always loved the formula but the colour match was a little off before. I think this will be my go-to winter foundation!
What do you think of this week's favourites?
I love all of your favourites this week! I really want to try the rimmel lipsticks!

ReplyDeleteHmmm you've got me thinking about Baileys now. I can only drink a little at a time or it starts to become sickly, but that little at a time is lovely! Just read your review of Farenheit 451 as well, sounds interesting .. Have you read The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R.Carey? It's really good. If interested you can read my review here http://www.andreasmake-upartistry.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/bloggers-book-club-1-girl-with-all-gifts.html xxx
